Centre of town. No spare blankets, basic room with microwave, toaster and mini fridge. Reception open but unattended during our stay. Booked through Trip and thought I was booking a 1bdroom apartment from the description and pictures. Confirmation of booking was for a standard double room with a Queen bed. It was a double bed. Wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel rooms are overpriced for what they are. Filthy stinky sticky carpet and lukewarm 'hot' water in the shower. But the worst part is the establishment across the road ( Australian Hotel) which is EXTREMELY! loud and was a total torture.

We liked the secure parking.
We booked through *******, but we needed to shift our booking to the next night. We contacted the property to change the booking, rather than through *******. Big mistake.
The property accepted the change, but sent us no confirmation. I requested a confirmation via email. No answer. I called them and then received a confirmation email, but it claimed we would be charged for the room on check in. We had already been charged by *******.
We emailed the property and requested a confirmation that the room was fully paid. No responce.
We contacted their head office, who called the property and verbally confirmed that no money was owing.
We arrived after their front desk had closed. A sign on the front door stated that late check ins would receive a text telling them how to access their room key. We had received no text.
Finally, by contacting their 'emergency number,' we were able to access our room.
A lot of hassle!

We liked the size of the room and decor the room was 107 which faced the rear of the building this was not an issue as it was quiet as we spent most of our time out and about.

Probably the biggest one bedroom apartment I've ever stayed in. Great location in the heart of Ballina.
Cleanliness was an issue. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied and there was hair on the bathroom floor. The place could do with a good dusting.
However the good easily outweighed the bad including a huge balcony and we would definately stay here again.

Check in was quick and easy. My room 107, Was clean and tidy, but very dark. The balcony was huge, but the view was not very pleasant. The back of shops. Secure parking was provided. No room service. I am glad I only stayed one night with the view I had.

Right in the middle of town. Easy access to all facilities.The Ballina Olympic Pool only 2 blocks away.

Interesting. Had some great elements, some average elements and some not so good points. There are a number of different apartment types on offer and we had the cheaper non river facing rooms (cheaper). You pay more for the better views, but it is good to have choice. The great - awesome location on the river, near a large supermarket (Woolworths), and other nice venues like cafes and Club. Really convenient. The average - the service was minimal although quick and efficient. The secure car park is appreciated, although a bit tight in some areas. The bed and amenities in the room were OK, nothing special. It had a small microwave which was useful and a large balcony which unfortunately only overlooked a laneway and backs of shops. The room was quite dark with little natural light, and dated, but clean and comfortable. The price was maybe a little over the venue value, but pretty close comparative to what is on offer in town. Not so good - the noisy trucks at 5.30am were definitely not appreciated, albeit out of the control of the Managers.
