This is going to be a lengthy one.
Checked in, found long black hair everywhere on the floor — I immediately asked them to clean it up. The room was also invested with tiny red ants, I moved the furnitures away from the wall and used insect chalk to avoid them. Got back late later that night to find hair on the bed sheet, under the bed cover — I didn’t check it after checking in, very disgusting but I had to deal with it because I had nowhere to sleep. I was itching when sleeping, found out some of the ants made it onto my bed in the next morning. I checked out right away.
I contacted trip.com CS at midnight, requesting to modify my booking from 3 nights to 1 night because I was feeling uncomfortable. Kudos to them for being fast response & always keeping me updated about my request. Unfortunately, OYO — the “middle party”/hotel chain supplier — didn’t accept the request and I lost money to them. This is going to be my last time booking any OYO accommodations, so disappointed.
