Check-in was smooth, staffs are helpful and welcoming. Room is spacious and well-equipped, love the shampoo and bodywash provided. Drawbacks are: lots of mosquitos; monkeys running on the roof in the morning. Overall, pleasant stay, will come back again!

Superbly located, spacious room, very value for money. Just make sure you ask a room further from the lobby as there’s loud band playing until 11pm most nights.

This was an excellent choice for me. The room was massive with a tub that I used daily. It also had a shower. The location is close to all the nice restaurants, monkey forest and bars. The staff is super nice. They offered me a snack and water every 6 hours. This hotel gives you a great value for your money. I highly recommend it.

Superbe chambre supérieure et salle de bain, jardin privatif, nombreuses attentions quotidiennes (eau, gâteau, fruits, bougies et spray moustique). Personnel très accueillant, localisation fantastique au centre d Ubud, à 2 pas de monkey forest, nombreux restaurants et commerces. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

gracious, quiet and charming in the most unassuming way. No new age dingbat crowd, super friendly staff and excellent location in UBUD. We have been there several times and will be going back again. Very satisfying indeed, I am sure you will be as happy as we were

Staff were friendly, amazing and accommodating, they also remembered our conversations and circumstances. Both bungalows were perfect with daily servicing and evening turn down with added treats. Breakfast was done well. Pool well maintained and location was perfect. Lovely welcome drink and cold towel on arrival.

Very decent rooms, very nice place to feel relaxed. Bit noice in the front room at night due to neighbour playing loud music but still ok. Breakfast is all good and good services. Room service is good and good stay for family. Beds were very comfy. Accommodated 2 adults and 1 kid of 12 years old. Provided us with extra full size bed. Mosquito net was good and French window was also relaxing. Close to Monkey forest, Ubud market and restaurants and Ubud palace. All close enough of 5-10 minutes walk only.

This place is very central. Has some great restaurants and bars nearby definitely recommend "Honey and Smoke: across the road but you will need to book. Small details is that this place really looks after you with daily fruit platters and nuts. Breakfast was enough. As I said very central to everything. Our Villa room was beautiful and tranquil. We loved this place and highly recommend it.

Our first trip back to Bali after Covid. We finished our holiday with 3 nights at Barong Resort. From entering the resort we were warmly welcomed by the happy, friendly & attentive staff. We were very grateful for the high level of service throughout our stay. The a la carte breakfast had lots of selections. The three of us settled comfortably into our pool villa. Spacious rooms & outdoor lounging areas. We loved the thoughtful surprises left every day. Perfect location right in the centre, easy walking to many attractions. Thank you everyone at Barong Resort for an enjoyable stay.

Bungalow room was spacious and very private. The pool is perfect. A la carte breakfast choices included all the usual plus fruit platters and local fare. Staff were very friendly and keen to help in every way. A little work going during the day on at the rear to repair some rooms. Location could not be better half way between the monkey jungle and the temple but very quiet as the rooms are located away from the noise. As we arrived in Bali late we arranged with the resort for a pickup by email. Easy as at a cost of 550k IDR.
