White Tortoise Eco Villa's

Beautiful, relaxing and small villas. If you want to relax this is the place for you. It is a wonderful hidden gem. Note it is a little far from beaches so you’ll need to get a taxi or drive a scooter. They also only serve breakfast which was delicious!

What a lovely end to our honeymoon! We finished our Bali honeymoon trip here in Uluwatu for 3 nights and we wish we’d booked longer to stay. It’s a hidden gem in the middle of Uluwatu with breath taking views! We stayed in the white villa with our own private pool. We enjoyed floating breakfast which was such a nice touch and unique way of eating breakfast! The food here was delicious and I’m already missing the breakfast pancakes, honestly these were to die for! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I wasn’t aware but my husband had arranged a surprise flower display upon arrival and the staff laid the most beautiful flowers both downstairs and upstairs in our villa. The bathroom is outside so you definitely get that special unique feeling of been right in the middle of the jungle. We did have visitors whilst staying here emit we found these entertaining. The monkeys are always nearby and the staff are very aware and on hand if you need peace and quiet from them. Finally, the views!! The views you wake up to in a morning are breath taking. We got to see both the sunrise and sunset across Uluwatu and it was stunning. Highly recommend this adults only hotel as a honey moon destination.

We stayed for 4 nights at White Tortoise Villas. We paid around $300 per night. We expected a much better room and were somewhat disappointed by the facilities here. The mosquito net over the bed wasn’t mosquito proof because it wasn’t long enough just a pretty decorative touch . The bathroom was hazardous because water splashed easily all over the floor making it very slippery and the shower faucet was broken. It was open and full of mosquitoes so bring mosquito coils. Also a cat kept running into our room and we saw the staff feeding the cat on the kitchen bench. The room was traditionally designed which we like but is quite basic in the amenities provided. Eg only 1 bedside table, basic bathroom without any appeal. We may be unusual but we prefer sleeping with a fan and the doors open. Luckily we were provided with a great fan . We were well prepared with plug in mosquito repellent which you will need because the mosquito net over the bed isn’t properly designed. Breakfast was to be available from 7 but staff turned up late one morning and told us to wait half an hour. While the breakfast was included it was rigid in what we could order. No mixed juices allowed unless you paid extra, toast was $1 a slice extra if you chose a breakfast without toast and this is whilst paying $300 per night. Access to White Tortoise is down a very narrow road so if you’re coming by car only 1 car can fit on the road so either you have to reverse to let a car in the opposite direction pass or try and pull over to the side of the road. The private pool included with the room have no privacy because you can be seen by people walking past. The staff at reception were lovely and helpful and welcoming

We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at White Tortoise. It is in a lovely setting with great views. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was superb. The villa was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommended.

We had an fantastic stay at White Tortoise. The villa was unique, clean, comfy and beautiful and had probably the best view in all of Uluwatu. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect! Thanks a lot for this amazing stay and giving us a great time in Uluwatu.

We started our trip at the White Tortoise and it was a very good way to kick off our holidays. The place is very charming and quiet, the food is super tasty and the staff super friendly. At this period of the year, there was no restaurant for the evening, however with Grab (application like Uber), it was very easy to get meals.

My fiancé and I enjoyed the most magical and memorable time at the White Tortoise. Every single need was considered and catered to by the exceptionally friendly staff who always greeted us with the biggest smile. Nothing was ever too difficult for them - the hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. Special thanks to the villas dog, Maya, who was around for pats while we were missing our own dog at home! If you want to get out and about, there are several beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops a short walk or cheap taxi away. If you are looking for a quiet and lazy holiday, then you can’t go past this place. Incredible breakfast onsite (available until midday, not compromising your sleep in!), private pools with amazing views of Uluwatu, comfortable villas made for lounging around, and staff who will go above and beyond. We stayed three nights but easily could have stayed three weeks! We can’t wait to come back - hopefully soon for our honeymoon!

We stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer! The one-storey villa was perfect, with a beautiful small private pool and tranquil outdoor area. The bed was so comfortable and the shower and bathroom were very modern. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We had our favourite breakfast of our whole trip in Bali here and the nicest freshly made welcome drink when we arrived. Would love to return here again :)
