I don’t think one night is enough to justify a review but this experience is one that I’d be happy to repeat, if only to confirm that it’s not a one-off.
There are quibbles though. Our room had a distinct mouldy smell. There’s no sign of actual mould anywhere in the room and the smell was eventually dispelled by running the aircon and overhead fan at full throttle.
The bedside lights - tho use fancy ones with glowing incandescent filaments, are controlled by a dial, not a switch. One wouldn’t dial down to zero. Sometime in the middle of the night I just had to unscrew the bulb in order to get full darkness.
These are both maintenance issues which could easily be fixed. They have an engineering team that we saw in action who promptly and efficiently fixed an issue with a speaker so I’d expect tomorrow or the day after both of my quibbles would be memories only.

C’est un hôtel idéal pour une famille. Ce n’était pas du tout l’ambiance club qu’on connaissait et qu’on redoutait. La soirée « disco » de vendredi s’est avérée plutôt la soirée « normale » et nous en étions ravis !!
Nous avons apprécié surtout la gentillesse du personnel et 2 piscines : l’une idéale pour les petits et l’autre (arrière) idéale pour les gens qui cherchent une tranquillité.

Our family of 4 stayed in an upstairs pool view junior suite and after touring around, it really felt like it was the best choice on the island for us. The room layout was a great setup for 2 adults, 2 kids. Stylish interiors and comfy beds. As well as making up the room each day, they came back and turned down the beds nightly while we were out which was a nice touch. The guest-only pool area at the back is gorgeous and tranquil and while our kids were too old for it, the playground at the back looked like a great spot for little ones. Our kids had the best time around the fire pit and kicking the ball with other kids on the beach as the sun set and the adults had drinks. We never had trouble getting a beach sunlounge and as a guest you’re not expected to spend even if you want to park yourself there all day. Yes everything in-house was pricey - an initial shock after the lower prices in Bali - but it did reflect the quality, all the food was excellent. We had breakfast included in our rate which was off the a la carte menu and it was like eating at a great Melbourne cafe daily. SO GOOD. There was also a fab French bakery down the road with beautiful quiches and pastries. We loved our stay and hope to come back to Ohana’s in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights last month and really wish we stayed longer. Travelling with family girls 13 and 9 it was there favourite place on our holiday.Not just ohanas but the area and places nearby are excellent. We stayed in a family room looking over chilled out back pool. Really relaxing and clean rooms with good air con. We got in a routine staying at back pool till an hour before sunset then moving to beach club.The place is relaxed and anyone We met were really nice and down to earth. The breakfast is really good,my wide loved the avo and feta.I was used to mie or nasi at breakfast but they don't do it but plenty of other options. If you are worried about noise here it's not noisy in your room it pretty much tells you after 11 no noise for other guests. Yes it was on the pricey side compared to what else you can book but we loved it and if we ever venture from Scotland to bali we will definitely stay in NL at ohanas.

To overrated and much to expensive for what you get. We stayed here for 2 days, 2 days long there were childen screaming, yelling, splashing and crying. Even our food gets wet because of the splashing in the pool. First day my friend and i ordered lunch, they bring my food but my friend gets his food 25 minutes later. Some staff are really friendly, some don’t. The food is okay but not amazing, so are the rooms also. We are happy to leave this place. The payment system is bad. When you want to pay for your consomptiond there is a long long row at the desk. Even as hotel guest you have to pay every time you order. The hotel even send us a text message for 2 drinks we forgot to pay, that must be done for 22:00. You can’t pay cash, only with card. Also not helpful. We were out for diner so had to come back. Pools are dirty, my friend and I both get skin irritation. Also is not everything clean in the room, see pictures.

Cool vibes and Awesome place. Rooms are good size. Only annoying thing they dont take cash or have tabs for your stay, you have to pay each time you get food or drink. By breakfast as you go, Included breakfast option is limited with only 8 items to choose from. Overall lovely resort.

This place was soo cool. I’d recommend going at sunset or in the evening as the vibe was way more appealing with the lights, breeze music and fire pit for marshmallows on the beach. You MUST book ahead. Food was good, more expensive than other places but it’s way cleaner and exciting so worth the money. Great for families and larger groups!

We enjoyed our time at Ohanas. A beautiful location with comfortable rooms and a happening bar and restaurant. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, as were the restaurant staff. We loved the snorkeling trip organised by the hotel and they also booked us a scooter to zoom around on.

We enjoyed the beach front location with nice views of the water from the pool / bar. Food and drink was great and we also enjoyed the pool area with sun lounges at the back of the resort. Our rooms were nice a large with great facilities and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
