Gmt Sorabora Village Hotel

The experience we had @ this hotel was memorable.... The staff was amazing and the environment was very calm, family friendly atmosphere made our visit lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's seeking a luxury hotel around Mahiyangana.

I visited this hotel several times. I like this place. The staff is very courteous, the food is delicious, and the rooms are exceptionally Good. It is at the heart of Maiyangana city, close to the Maiyangana Temple. It doesn't have a bar. Visitors should bring their liquor

We visited your hotel consist of so members we were welcome warmly and pleated well. We stayed one night in your hotel and the environment of the hotel was very fascinating we were given comfortable rooms and delicious food. The service of your staff was interesting. We had opportunities to enjoy freely. We were given facilities as we wished. The managing director and the all other staff members deal with us cordially. We thank you and all of your staff members. Wow, excellent....had great service from you. Rooms are so comfortable and well cleaned every facilities included to our package.... Special thanks going to front office. They arranged me everything what I want...dinning Hall and all the group provide us excellent service,, quick service with kind words, 13th night. There was a dg music and they invite me to sing. We had a wonderful stay at GMT Soraborawewa Village Hotel its closer to indigenous people jungle village It is well located, at 15min walking from the mahiyanganaya center so just what we needed to be in a peaceful place. It is well maintained and the room are clean! But the best in this place is the staff! They were so kind, always doing their best to make our stay perfect! elephant came near to back of the hotel fence I really recommend it!

Our arrival to the hotel was greeted by a group of staff and the manager who showed us the rooms and was very attentive. We were impressed with the rooms and enjoyed the dinner although it did take some time to serve. The manager also took time to talk with us after dinner and was very cordial. During our stay, the manager also asked me about purchasing land in Sri Lanka on two different occasions, and also with my wife, which I found was quite puzzling. It left me wondering his role as manager whose interest was in the hotel and/or himself. Importantly, when I was presented the bill for our one night stay I submitted my credit card to the manager who processed the transaction but after review it was apparent I was overcharged 9500 Sri Lanka rupees. It was clearly my mistake that I did not review the charges before submitting my credit card. I thought Mr Nishanthas would be trustworthy to only charge me what was agreeded upon at the time of the reservation. I hope he distributed the extra amount I was over booked to his staff and did not go into his pocket.
