Ella Dream Mount

Clio Ella Resort

"I don't why there are negative reviews. it's a jungle resort and it lived to its expectations. you can't be staying in a luxury property in middle of jungle. arrival experience is amazing. adventure starts right from there. room is spacious and clean. view from balcony to stream is next to amazing. Best thing is the staff they treats you like king and makes you feel very special. very friendly and always ready to do whatever you ask. no is something I didn't hear. my 9 year old son enjoyed the activities also and last bath at river stream is most rejenuvating in our entire srilankan trip. the chef you received us on arrival and isuru at reception were great. no doubt everyone else is equally good. don't go by negative reviews. if you can walk and climb and need a different experience for your kids take then here. they will enjoy."

Ollie Resort

"Our reservation, made back in April 2025, was cancelled the night before our arrival due to overbooking. I find it unacceptable that they were unable to manage guest planning until the very last moment. We were simply told to cancel the booking ourselves, and no assistance was offered to help us find alternative accommodation. After that, they stopped responding entirely. This is not what I would expect from professional customer service. Very disappointing."

Ella Fresh Point Homestay

"I was able to make a reservation on Trip.com, but when I actually got there, the accommodation wasn't there. I had to quickly find another place to stay!!"

Mount Crest - Ella

"A pleasant stay with a lovely terrace, but several points for improvement We stayed at the Mount Crest in Ella. The room was functional, clean, and had comfortable beds, which was very much appreciated. However, the space was quite limited, and there wasn't really enough room to put our belongings, which made organizing our things a bit complicated. The bathroom was clean, but the shower water only came out as a trickle, which wasn't ideal. Outside, on the other hand, it was a real pleasure: a lovely terrace, sunshine, and a hammock perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding nature. The owner and her daughter are lovely, very attentive, warm, and helpful. Their kindness truly made our stay memorable. In terms of value for money, it's excellent for what it is: simple, clean, well-located, and affordable. A few negative points, however: - The smell of cigarettes from people smoking in the hallways can drift into the room depending on the wind. – The soundproofing is very poor: you can clearly hear people talking and coming and going in the hallways at night, which can be disruptive to sleep. – The location isn't necessarily very convenient if you're looking for a lot of comfort or space. Overall, a decent stay, with exceptional service, a pleasant terrace, and good value for money, but some improvements would make the experience more comfortable."

Mapakada Village - Wild Trails & Lake Retreat - Mahiyanganaya
