Amazing place! Fantastic spa and wonderful staff.

The rooms are OK with view on the water, large balcony The restaurant should be improved, plates quite bad, returned most. The “chef” told us he would do something but didn’t heard anything later on. Can hardly recommend.

We were staying in Bad Sachsa but not in the hotel. We thought this place is highly recommended so lets go there for dinner. This turned out to be a disappointing experience. First of all, when we came in with dripping coats and umbrellas we were just brought to our table, and we had to chase down staff so they could put them away in the cloakroom. Clearly not an issue with hotel guests. Next surprise was the very limited menu. There are 3 main dishes on the menu (hopefully a daily rotating one) and they have one soup of the day and one appetizer. Prices were not shown or mentioned. We were informed we had to pick the main dish and could get the soup and appetizer from the the buffet (again, there we no other choices). As we didn't like the 3 main dishes offered we learned they could also serve us a rumpsteak. No prices were mentioned (nor did I ask). We ordered a 34 euro bottle of wine to go with the steaks. When the waiter retuned she mentioned they did no longer had this wine but they had a good alternative, again no prices were mentioned (nor did I ask), but when we got the bill at the end this "good (for them) alternative" was with 58 euros almost double the price... The food was good and if you are a hotel guest staying for a number of days the very limited choice is of course no concern, but if you go there as a guest only for dinner this is weird. What also struck us as weird is that for some guest the waiter offered to get the items from the buffet, but this was not offered to everybody and most certainly it was not offered to us. We noticed that even some hotel guests were looking at this with surprise. The real surprise for us came when we were offered the bill. The rumpsteaks which were fine but not great and were 34 euros each, as mentioned above the wine turned out to be 58 euros, 4 euros for the water and 32 euros in total for the soup, appetizer and deserts coming to a total of 162 euros. Again the food was good but the overall experience, available choices and price-value are totally off. This was for me the 3rd night in a row I went for dinner with my wife, the first night we spent 400 euros and the food, drinks and service were fabulous, the second night we had dinner in Bad Sachsa for 70 euros and the food was good. This third night was the first one where i really did not get value for the price paid, so unless you are a hotel guest, don't go there for dinner.

Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet . Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Das Spa ist sehr gut. Die Anwendungen sind sehr gut. Die Pools und Saunen sind phantastisch. Im Klangraum kann man sehr gut entspannen.

Das Abendessen kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Genau so toll ist das Frühstück. Reichlich an Auswahl von Brötchen und so weiter. Der Spa Bereich ist ist genau so toll. Dort kann man super Relaxen und sich prima in der Sonne entspannen. Tolles Hotel

Tolle Lage am See mit Rundweg um den See . Sehr gepflegt. Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Super Restaurant und Küche, Frühstücksbüfett war einmalig, endlich mal wieder ein Koch am Büfett. Top Wellnessanlage sehr gepflegt. Immer wieder

Ein sehr angenehmes und über die Zeit wunderschön gewachsenes Ressort. Das sollte man jedoch auch wissen: etwas verwinkelt und am Anfang etwas schwierig zu erkunden, jedoch letztlich wunderschön. Leider gibt es, sicherlich auch hinsichtlich des Alters der Infrastruktur, keine Klimaanlagen in den Zimmern, was aktuell aufgrund der Temperaturen durchaus herausfordernd sein kann. Das Essen, ob im regulären Betrieb oder gar im Sterne Restaurant, ist meines Erachtens hervorragend. Hier weiß der Chefkoch was er mit seiner Mannschaft tut. Zudem muss das stets höfliche und sehr zuvorkommende Personal, egal in welchem Bereich, hervorgehoben werden. Wir waren am Anreisetag nicht glücklich mit der Lage und vor allem der Lautstärke, die von außen kam, mit unserem Zimmer. Auch hier wurde unkompliziert Abhilfe geschaffen. Quasi ein Upgrade zu gleichen Konditionen. Dafür nochmal ein Herzliches Dankeschön an den jungen Mann an der Rezeption. So soll es sein. Wir werden nach wie vor wiederkommen.
