The intimate atmosphere of the restaurant overlooking the Isle of Ewe offers the finest of service and traditional and local fare, specialising in seafood, highland beef and venison. A lunch menu including freshly ground coffee and baked goods is served in the conservatory. The comfortable lounge bar is perfect for a nightcap or try the public bar for a bit of 'local' atmosphere. We stayed at the Aultbea Hotel many years ago and we visit the area regularly so we were disappointed when it closed a number of years ago and lay vacant. In late August we were passing and were approached by a very nice young lady who told us that she and her husband had bought the hotel and were bringing it back to life. Later we visited the bar area, now open, and were delighted at the décor and the friendly ambiance. I have no doubt that this young couple will create an Aultbea hotel even better than the original and we look forward to visiting it many times in the future. Good luck to them all.
