My students and I have been staying here on school trips since 2015. After two years of canceling trips during the pandemic, we were thrilled to finally return to Assisi in 2022. Carlo and Cristian and the rest of their family always take such good care of us that I will never stay anywhere else in Assisi! I love that we can have breakfast and supper in the hotel restaurant and enjoy the views from the terrace, and we always spend at least one evening at the Rocca Maggiore (about a 10-minute walk uphill) to watch the sunset over Assisi. Highly recommended!

The property is in a very convenient location within Assisi and the staff are very friendly and accommodating

DONT BOOK here!!... there is NO parking and the hotel charges you if you want to park on their premises (you get a ticket if you park in public places) The rooms are small, THE BATHROOMS ARE TINY: you use the loo and brush your teeth at the same time! BOTH side walls are dry walled, so, one can hear the neighbours; keeping you up at night!! The breakfasts are also to be avoided: over priced and inferior quality (we could not eat the yoghurt or drink the coffee)

La Rocca is a lovely little hotel. The staff is kind, friendly and accomodating. Christian (one of the owners) seems to work 24 hours a day to make the guests happy.
I did not stay in the main hotel. There is an annex up some outdoor steps. It was fine, but not if you have a problem walking.
Overall the hotel was very Franciscan in its simplicity.
Luxury -no. Family warmth, comfortable room, and caring staff-YES! I would definitely stay there again.

Ottima location dell’Hotel a due passi da tutto. Purtroppo alcune stanze sono in un dependance sul retro (dove ci sono le cucine del ristorante). La nostra era in un sottoscala con una finestrella (bocca di lupo) stile cantina che si affacciava a livello del pavimento di un terrazzino (di altra stanza?). Stanza piccolissima, bagno mignon… con doccia/water tutto insieme. Tutto funzionante, ma se avessi saputo le caratteristiche della stanza al momento della prenotazione (Booking) avrei sicuramente scelto diversamente. Sia su Booking che sul sito Internet dell’Hotel la stanza-loculo non viene mai rappresentata in foto…. strano!!!!

Struttura all’interno delle mura vicino al duomo, accoglienza super. Mangiato divinamente, sebbene in sala ristorante erano in tanti il servizio era veloce. Ad ogni nostra richiesta ci hanno accontentato. Personale TOP. In aggiunta anche il tempo ci ha permesso di vivere questa esperienza al massimo

Très propre. Accueil charmant et professionnel. Couchages bons. Bains appropriés. En sus le restaurant est de qualité avec une nourriture régionale et de bons produits. Les habitants d’Assise y mangent aussi.l’emplacement est en haut de la ville de Assisi et en plein quartier médiéval près de la Cathédrale San Ruffino et du château La Rocca Maggiore.

Siamo stati solo per un giorno , tutto bene certo non è proprio comodo dover uscire dalla struttura per andare in camera , soprattutto in inverno e con una bimba piccola. La posizione comunque buona e personale disponibile Location 6 Servizio 7 Menu 7 Conto 6
