Africa Safari South Serengeti

Magical moments = sunset in front a magnificent acacia + some zebras grazing in front of you few meters away (and a cold beer 😊). This is the continuously renewed show that this area offers to you. The comments would be not complete if I forgot the kind and helpful staff (as it is always the case in the different lodges of the company Beach & Safari)

When you first arrive, the place doesn't look like much as it is glamping tents in the middle of the Serengeti. The rooms were very clean and styled nicely. The bathroom was modern African Themed. The manager, Abdulah and Michael were amazing throughout our stay. We felt super welcomed and they had 10/10 service. We had dinner outside by the fire (with someone on watch for wild animals) Majority of hotel staff including the chef came out to say thank you for staying with them and wanted us to let them know if there were any issues (which there wasn't). The staff came out to us during dinner and all danced and sang around the fire. We felt that this was the most authentic dancing/ authentic experience we had as they looked like they were having fun and enjoying themselves. The food was so incredible and was plated very well Showers were very warm and had good pressure.

This company is completely untrustworthy. We had one night reserved here and two night at another of their properties. We wanted to stay at this property for an extra night, and cancel the first night at the other property. Everyone told me this would be fine - the staff at this hotel, the staff at the second hotel, and their main office staff. They said to book the second night at this place and then send a request through to cancel the first night at the other property and they would accept it. So I did that. But they rejected my request. They blamed the computer systems, claiming to have accepted. The property manager at the other hotel assured me that the company would sort it out with the travel agency. He even told me he had a notation in the file about the size of the refund. I followed up to get the refund for the first night at the other property and now the main office is saying we stayed there for the full two nights which is completely false. Needless to say, I have enough documentation to challenge this through my credit card, but I shouldn't have to. Long story short, don't do business with this company - they will lie to you and everyone else just to squeeze some extra money out of you.

As a guest, the campsite is great. Hospitality is amazing & food was surprisingly good. However our tour guide was treated very badly. He had to eat standing up, with no table and chairs. Absolutely awful. Also no door /shower for the tour guides. Will not return until this is fixed.

We had a wonderful stay here! The staff is amazing, and the manager David is such a sweet and kind person. The tents were very well equipped and we felt very comfortable!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!! Great service and food as well

Abdelah was The kindest person of the whole Place and was very energetic to help us at any time! A person whose smile will make your day. Besides that… electricity got cut off during the night (while they say they have a back up generator), there was no hot water during the whole stay. While we booked the comfort room. It’s a small restaurant/bar but the food was delicious.

Damn near perfect experience. Friendliest staff we’ve encountered in Tanzania. Feels like a true tenting Safari experience but with wifi. Animals all around and surprisingly great food. Only let down was a hard-ish bed but if you’re more petit they’ll be fine.

Everything was just great, see for your yourself at the photos. The lodge is in the middle of nowhere and on your way to the place you will see lots of giraffe. The tent is very comfy and you hear lots of animal sounds during the night. To have dinner in the small tent restaurant was also an extraordinary a**osphere. The team is very friendly and will definitely go the extra for you!

Great place to stay with very friendly staff! Going here is a very unique experience and was a highlight of our safari. The hotel is located in the middle of a national park. You will sleep between the wild animals and we have never had a similar setup. Compared to the other Africa Safari hotels this was one of our favorite places. I can really recommend staying here to get a very special safari! Thank you so much team! (As a note - due to the very remote location don’t expect your usual 5-Star resort. Everything is still working, very clean, and staff aims to accommodate all your wishes.)
