While the house can comfortably sleep four adults, it can easily accommodate two more on the sleeper sofa in the living room. A cozy fire in the kiva fireplace will warm your bones while you dine or relax in the comfortable living area. Being travelers, cooks, and foodies ourselves, Stella Luna provides you with a well-equipped kitchen and a home tastefully decorated with furnishings, art and objects from near and far. A selection of movies, books, and games will help you unwind from your life in the real world. To soothe those aching limbs and enjoy our spectacular New Mexico skies, there's a hot tub on the back deck; from the SW facing portal you get views of the Truchas, El Pedernal (a leitmotif of Georgia O'Keeffe), sunsets, and the neighbor’s grazing cows. This home is a fabulous vacation location. It is situated on five irrigated acres in the foothills above the village of Arroyo Seco. You can walk or ride bikes to the town along a creek on a tree-lined road.El Salto Road is the very best location to enjoy a Taos holiday. The creeks and irrigation keep the area green and lush. The five-acre property surrounding the house has 1000 trees in Cottonwood, Willow, Austrian Pines, and Aspen. There is a small plum and apple orchard and a whole garden on site for guests to pick vegetables. We are growing lettuce, spinach, tomato, radish, carrot, potato, and basil.The mountain biking and cycling are world-class right out the front door. Hiking trails are phenomenal, with access to Forest Service lands just minutes away. From Taos Ski Valley (15 minutes), there are countless trails and cooler temperatures as one gains altitude. The Ski Valley offers trail riding horse stables and chairlift rides.Relax in an authentic Adobe home after skiing in winter or hiking any time of the year. Located just minutes from the village of Arroyo Seco and fifteen minutes from Taos Ski Valley, this comfortable, warm, and inviting residence awaits you and your family. The two bedroom one bath is comfortable for 3 guests. It has been newly remodeled, very clean and cozy. The decor has been tastefully done. The road is a dead end so very few cars come by which makes it nice and quiet.The location is 15 minute drive toTaos Ski Valley! You can have a great day on the slopes and in minutes be back for a nice warm shower! I have gotten many compliments on the comfortable beds and furniture. In the fall spring and summer there are some great hiking trails just 10 to 20 minutes away.The WiFi is a very good connection.I invite you to stay with us!The space:You will be just a 20 minute drive to Taos PlazaAnd minutes to Arroyo Seco, a quaint town worth the stop!
