2 week all inclusive holiday Oct 2023 We decided to book aluasoul zante for our 2023 holiday. We read the reviews and the majority of people said positive things about the hotel yes there were negative ones but we had been to the excellence in Mexico last year and it was stunning but people still had a moan about that so we took the plunge and booked. We paid extra for sea view room but could only see about 1 inch of it from. Balcony plus we wanted double bed but had two singles we spoke to polite staff who showed us a new room which would be available in the morning and it was alot better beautiful view of sea but single beds they said they would give us a double bed . I the morning we swapped rooms but they had only thrown a matress topper on the beds and pushed them together so not great . When we pressed flush we had 2 hrs of cistern filling and had to keep pressing it over and over in hope the noise would stop. The room was small. There was nothing in the fridge which was not great considering we were all inclusive no snacks fruit pop only 2 small bottles water on side. Shower had corrosion and was rusty the room had been recently painted but had not been wiped where they had over painted. Bath was very slippery just all needed updating replacing. We could not get a lounger by pool as selfish people put towels down and we're there all day they gounch or away for kip and come back the staff never enforced the NORESERVING loungers at all! So we would go to the beach every day instead . Breakfast was not great I can eat anything but stuck to cerial or some fry up beans sausage eggs that were not cooked or over cooked the orange jusce apple was u drinkable tasted like neat orange cordial the coffee machine was not a great option thank god we brought own tea bags. lunch dinner was not much better yes there was a varied choice but alot tasted the same my fiance who is fussy lived on spam , plain ham chips with rosamary on them or abit of salad. The desserts were nice but everything had flys and wasps all over it so we eat as soon as it opened and not later. There is a upgraded club where fir 80 € 100€ per night you get access to better rooms. 2 other pools and sunlougets which were plentiful a restaurant which served same menu most night not great we looked!. Two egg wicker chairs in middle og hotel only for select guests and a small tabled area next to main restaurant with same food. So it looks amazing I. Photos but not worth it to upgrade we went on shipwreck beach and blue cave tour with nexis local tour company which was well worth it . What a beautiful resort hotel. Originally I was supposed to stay at another resort in Tragaki, but personal reasons got in the way, so I chose the Aluasoul and I'm glad i did. The staff were friendly and always polite, the food was amazing and drinks were always available, it's a picture perfect place. The location of the resort hotel 5 minute drive from Tsilivi or 30 minute stroll which is what I did to soak up the sun and the surroundings and 20 minute drive to Laganas. I would definitely recommend the Aluasoul If you prefer quieter and less party surroundings. I will definitely be coming back.

We arrived just at the beginning of the season. On arrival reception staff appeared a little disorganised. As we were there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary (first holiday with ni children) my husband had upgraded us to my favourite club. Beautiful hotel and spotless. Alex, Tony, Maria and Frassos made our stay memorable. They are funny, kind and extremely helpful. Alex assisted my husband with a restaurant booking a short distance away to celebrate our special day as the al a carte restaurant was not initially open. The room was lovely. Smelt a little musty and the bathroom was tiny but it was ours for the week and we loved it. My husband had emailed the hotel previously and asked staff to facilitate champagne and flowers for our arrival but he didn’t receive a response. The my favourite club is beautiful. The view from your lounger is breathtaking and this experience was added to my the fabulous frassos who attended to all our needs. The sea is beautiful and full of fish. Snorkelling is a must! All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing holiday and I honestly think the hotel would be lost without Alex!

We arrived here 7 days ago at 9pm at night and initial impressions were that this is the cleanest hotel we have visited anywhere Greek. As the weather is playing up and there is little to do I thought write your review instead of being bored I am 74 years of age and registered disabled with COPD and whilst I knew there were no lifts in the hotel the previous reviewers didn't emphasis that this hotel was built on the side of a steep hill. I had e mailed and requested a ground floor room and typical was given a top floor. Nobody showed us to the room and after ages going up and down hill my wife had to leave me in the dark to get assistance. We immediately complained about the room and got changed to a first floor room. Beds are comfy but Aircon doesn't work so sleeping is almost like suffocating. It might get fixed today We upgraded to"My Favourites" club which offer the use of an infinity pool artificial grass area and small bar all roped off. However that is right at the bottom of the hill, if you want the toilet it's 3 flights of stairs back up the hill... Why? Snacks like biscuits aren't evident and when you arrive you mini bar has beer and 3 cola along with 2x500ml water If you leave the water bottles visible while cleaners do the room, the bottles go and obviously you can't refill them, but you can buy new. I am wider than a lot of people but bathrooms here are mission impossible. You open the door to go in and tip toe past the wash basin once inside close the door as it hits the toilet. Don't let anyone bathe in whilst on the loo otherwise 2 broken knee caps. The large double bed for some reason is up two steps on a plinth. Definite trip hazard at night Finally food, I personally like what is on offer breakfast mushrooms are amazing and one day the egg man might cook the top of the eggs A La Carte restaurant is really nice I just hope for a bit of sunshine in the 4 days we have left

Lovely modern hotel. Bar staff fantastic. Food very tasty and fresh. Hotel lacks a**osphere. It’s very quiet (spa like feeling all day every day) not got the usual holiday vibe. Entertainment was very lacking during the day and evening and there isn’t anything to walk to that is close by, really. Overall, we didn’t let the “daily groans” spoil our time away however… when you have paid for your holiday I don’t expect to be having a daily moan. Hotel is under new management and has changed for what feels like the worst. Spoke to a single female returning customer from last year and she was disappointed at the lack of service, communication and entertainment that was on offer this time around. It is a beautiful hotel and setting just needs to look after its guests and act on what guests request quicker.

.the hotel staff are amazing but the hotel itself accommodation is quite tired and in need of updating. We would not say this hotel is 4* rated as we were told.

Deffo wouldnt go back to this hotel. Stayed 4th to 11th May. Dont be fooled by the pictures either on here or on Jet2 site, almost all of them are if you upgrade to My Favorite Club, not sure what the extra cost is but reading reviews now appears to be 50 per day. If no upgrade theres no Infinity pools, no 4 poster loungers, normal rooms are much smaller and extremely basic. 1st couple of days food was cold, asked reception for a microwave to no avail so had to ask the Jet2 rep and eventually got one to have hot food. We went with 2 more couples for our 20th Anniversary which was on the 7th, made it known to staff and booked the restaurant for a change of food but just bypassed any notification of it at all. There are 3 bars within safe walking distance and 2 supermarkets, thats it. Entertainment was an absolute joke, 3 girls that were really not good on Sunday and Monday night, DJ on Friday night, all playing for the grand total of 1 Hour per night. Round the pool there is a little background music with approx 10 songs playing on loop all day every day. We had a lot of ants in our room, told the maid and nothing was done. Another of our friends had serious issues with the door, was given a total of 11 different cards then eventually given a proper key but then the maid couldnt get in the room. All in all, a terrible experience for what we thought was going to be a special occasion

Great hotel , beautifully decorated. Didn't realise you had to upgrade to use the infinity pools €50 euros per day .unless you are staying in the my favourite club area. Food was great lots of choice 😋. They do need to move the deserts when the doors are open as the birds fly in and take full advantage which put us off the deserts . Receptionist hardly smile which was a bit off putting on arrival nobody explained about upgrading we found out from other guests . The best thing about this hotel is the main bar Alex and Toni have got it so right , they are so much fun and entertaining. Always smiling and making jokes they completely changed our opinion of the customer service in this hotel and should definitely train the others on how it's done . The bar can get very busy at times the staff work so hard to serve everybody and collect the glasses and turn them around. Seems they need more staff in the main bar to keep up with demand as the boys work so hard all night they don't stop for a second. They remember your names and greet everyone with a big smile. They literally bend over backwards for you. As to why the other staff can't do the same I have no idea. THANKYOU ALEX AND TONI YOU MADE OUR HOLIDAY PERFECT!!!! LITTLE EXTRA TIPS.... Make sure you don't leave any valuable jewellery out in your room as I had a bracelet go missing that I left next to my bed. Reception again not interested. Clean towels for the pool are available at reception. Good hairdryer and deposit box in room . Beds really comfy , rooms clean but not under beds as I found out looking for my bracelet We will go back again just because of Alex and Toni great guys xxx Nicky and Steve Pearce xxx
