Stunning views incredibly peaceful beautiful walks. Comfy chairs to enjoy the beautiful view and sunset when it’s too cold to be outside. Very well equipped cabin brand-new appliances.

My family and I stayed in Crowhill cabin and it was such a wonderful experience, the views are amazing and there is everything you could need to hand. We like somewhere relaxing to get away from it all and this was definitely the experience that we had at Lunga. It's a great place to stay to explore this area of Scotland, we visited Oban and the entire peninsula of Kintyre as well as going on a boat trip where we saw seals and deer (from afar!) We also had a walk to Ardfern which, at a very steady pace took 50 minutes. If you want peace & relaxation this is the place to be!

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. The views from the cabin were outstanding, and the cabin is well placed for activities. Practically, equidistant between Oban and Lochgilphead. There are plenty of things to see and do, my favourite being a visit to Kilmartin Glen to see the burial mounds and what remains of the standing stones.

Arrived at starfish lodge . Found a cottage with stunning all round views over the sea loch and islands. Will visit again . Fishing seemingly poor at this time of year but will try again later in the year . Lodge well equipped with more than enough cooking equipment and utilities

The place just blow us away , quiet peacefully, clean, I was recovering from been unwell and I relaxed so much with the jaquzzi bath and log burner and beautiful veiws it was lovley , didn't want to come home , will definitely be back . Didn't get out much as I was recovering but my husband and our dad had some great walks ,

We stayed at the Lunga Estate for a family wedding, 40 Americans plus a few Brits. The staff and owners were so helpful and patient, dealing with a fairly chaotic mixture of people! We used Ravens Rock for our base during our 5 night stay, and the views are spectacular, very peaceful and beautiful. The access road (more of a dirt track than a road) up to the cottage was impossible for our car, extremely steep and rough, but some smaller cars had less of a problem (our car is hybrid and has a different gearing system) so it meant carrying everything we needed up or down the hill. It’s also possible that the other drivers were more used to the track and had nerves of steel on the downward run! A bit of a hard walk in the warm weather, but nothing major. The cottage itself was clean, comfy beds, good sized bathrooms, and once you’d worked out the hot water/electricity, fine for our short stay. One oven and the washing machine didn’t work, but we managed without either. Basic, a bit small for 4 adults and a dog, but comfy enough for a base camp. One thing I would note is that the twin bedroom is very small, more suitable for children than adults. We didn’t explore the area much, apart from the estate itself, which is amazing, and spectacular in mid June as it was more about family and wedding plans, but I’d also recommend the village shop at Ardfen, a bit of a goldmine of goodies.

Absolutely loved this place. Will definitely revisit again. Great riding stables. Camping location was idyllic. Only problem was local pub was closed in August so had to travel for pub dinner. We had a wonderful private boat trip from the local marina.

Location good, but roads a little bumpy, which is to be expected. The house is clean with log burner and electric heaters. The electricity is metered and can be expensive. They sort problems out quickly if needed. The house could do with redecoration as the curtains in the bedroom and bathroom are dated and slide off the rail if not careful. Been for the past couple of years but the price has now increased too much. Shame as close to Oban but far enough away to be peaceful.

An excellent place with everything you need to hand, Beachcombers Cabin sleeps four perfectly has plenty of different spaces to chill out. We loved the log burner indoors and the fire pit outdoors. A vase of fresh flowers was there to welcome us. We also received emails about events in the local area. Only ten minutes walk to the local pub, shop and restaurant. We enjoyed watching the seals swim the bottom of the garden. A large window is the ideal place to watch the sky changing and the night skies are spectacular.
