Only issue was Wotif did not mention it was a shared bathroom property, more for backpackers. Only one garage parking available but ample of street parking. Owner of the property was very helpful and friendly.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, including helping us with our washing. Very comfortable rooms (and beds), although traffic can be a little bit noisy depending on what room you are in. a little quirky very good value and in a very central location. Ideal for backpackers, friends or just any one visiting Andalsnes on a budget. We can recommend dipping yours in toes in the fjord or just sitting at the dock of the bay with a beer.

When I pulled up, the front lobby/cafe was full of towels, mattresses, and old equipment. I thought they had gone out of business! After exploring, I went through a gate, past uncut lawn and a camper parked in a corner to find the back enternece. There was an apar**ent marked Host, I rang the bell but no one responded. I used the directions emailed to me to find my room on the third floor. There were no directions in the room. I had to explore to find the Wi-Fi password and the bathroom. There is one tiny bathroom on the third floor. One small kitchen and lounge area. The shower was in the basement. No signage to help you find anything. I do not have a phone, so emailed the host (they never did answer the door!) about my car. I had parked it in the one space carport next to the building as was worried it would be towed. No one ever responded. The worse part was the noise. Every time anyone came up the stairs to use the bathroom or kitchen, I could hear them. I woke in the middle of the night thinking someone was in my room only to realize it was the person in the room next to mine moving around!

Das Zimmer im ersten Stockwerk (pink) war sauber und praktisch eingerichtet, das Bett bestand aber nur aus zwei 60cm Matratzen, für uns ungewohnt schmal. WC und Duschen waren im Keller, ebenfalls sauber, aber unpraktisch, ohne Ablageflächen oder Haken für Sachen und Handtücher/Kleidung ausgestattet. Das ganze Haus war sehr hellhörig, wir hatten aber Glück und dennoch eine ruhige Nacht. Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und wir durften unser Motorrad in der überdachten Einfahrt abstellen. Insgesamt finde ich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz angemessen.
