Recently my wife and I stayed at the Pillows hotel in Amsterdam. We travel a lot throughout Europe and have stayed in many very excellent 5 star hotels in many countries there. And I must say that this hotel is the best one that we have yet enjoyed. The physical layout and cleanliness were top quality. But the main reason for my saying it is the best is the excellent staff there. Everyone from the house keepers to the reception to the restaurant staff were without exception happy, friendly and very helpful. I will stay there whenever I'm in Amsterdam again.

The Pillows Hotel is a outstanding 5 star all the way. They have an outstanding staff, they treat you from the beginning to the end like a VIP. Rooms very clean but small very comfortable bed. Food is great top rated service, very accommodating staff, everyone very friendly an helpful. If we visit Amsterdam again we will stay at the Pillows Hotel.

What an amazing hotel! Beautiful room and a stunning dinner at Van Oost. The wine pairing was very good. Only stayed for 1 night but would have loved to stay longer. I tried the automatic massage bed in the spa. Surprisingly good! Definitely recommend!

My wife and I visited the Pillows Hotel during our trip to Amsterdam late last year and its been over six month and we still talk about our stay and the amazing time we had in this hotel. The service, attention to detail, beautiful decor, the restaurants were all 5+ stars. We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels over the years and I think we both agree that this was the best experience we'd had in a hotel. 110% Worth it and we will definitely come back to it next time we are in the Netherlands. -Samuel & Juanita.

I like everything about this hotel. It is very clean, stylish and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Service was friendly, appropriately attentive, and professional. I do wish the thermostat in my room had been operational (by me) rather than centrally controlled as my room was quite warm at night. I would have opened the windows but noise from the bar made that problematic (the music there was left on later than usual). That said,I would very happily return.

I can't say enough good things about my stay here. The staff were fabulous, and very accommodating when I requested both a hypoallergenic room preparation (which I did a week beforehand) and more firm pillows (which I did at midnight!). They were incredibly welcoming and gracious, and the facilities were gorgeous. Clean, new, quiet, comfortable... all the things you could want at a hotel! And the artwork in the building is incredible. So many thoughtful touches... if you're considering staying here, you really should!

Pillows was a wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam. Not too close to the touristy section of town but easily accessible to trams and close enough for great walks.
