As an Amsterdam resident and a photographer, I can surely say that it's the best neighbourhood to stay in as it's in Museumplein, next to all the museums you'd wish to visit. Moreover, it's very close to the most picturesque canals and the bridge called Museumbrug. The room and the facilities were just perfect. I stayed in a two-floor suite which had a big sofa, bathroom and working table on the first floor with a cosy interior and a queen-sized bed and a bathtub on the upper floor. It feels so special to open the curtains from the buttons next to your bed and get the first light of the day. The hotel team thought up every little detail in the room that makes your stay very luxurious and unique. I also received a relaxing massage trea**ent in Akasha SPA where they have all the facilities like a gym, yoga studio, pool, jacuzzi, hammam and massage rooms. To sum up, it was a wonderful stay arranged by Emily Sang from Conservatorium Hotel's marketing team. If you visit Amsterdam and want a luxury trea**ent, do not miss out on the Conservatorium Hotel, you'll not regret it!

A beautiful hotel with amazing service, I have never seen anything like it, he welcomed us with a smile and an amazing and personal service (unfortunately, we don't remember his name, with long hair in a ponytail) super nice, explained to us about the hotel, asked how we were, made sure we felt like we were on the best vacation ever, (this is Roei And a Shir from a Mamilla hotel , sorry that we forgot the name, lost the note), we'd love to hear from you

PROS: The staff is very helpful and accommodating (the exception being many servers with attitude in the restaurant). We arrived a bit early and were able to check in without any fuss. And in the course of our 5 day stay the staff was very quick to respond to a couple of issues. We liked the location outside of the intensely touristy central area; which is a long-ish but pleasant 20 minute walk away. But if you want to be in the heart of the canal hustle and bustle, The Pulitzer might be a better choice. The Conservatorium is very conveniently located for the Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk museums. As the spa was being renovated, the 'pop-up' was sufficient and we both had relaxing body work done. CONS: There are many guest rooms overlooking the atrium, which is quite busy and attractive, however we had occasion to visit two of these rooms (traveling with friends) and they were permeated with the unpleasant scent of cooking meat as the restaurant is situated in the center of the atrium. Luckily our room overlooked the street and had no odor. We found the bed uncomfortable - too firm for us. The closet/dresser design is extremely inconvenient to the point of almost being unusable, so for 5 days we opted to more or less live out of our bags.

Extraordinary hotel, correct and attentive service, courtesy at all times. All this in a sophisticated environment without excess or opulence. Everything in the right measure… Perfect location, allowing access to the main cultural attractions on foot, something unusual! Special praise to concierges Ivan and Marc, helpful and experienced, providing impeccable service.

The stay at the hotel is like a concert where everything plays perfectly and in harmony. Every detail in the room, every detail in the meals and in the lobby, the attitude of the staff, the a**osphere, the music, the taste of the food, the design look. We especially wanted to mention Eitan, whom we met upon our arrival, who very patiently and warmly explained to us and gave recommendations that helped make our stay pleasant. He made sure that everything was as it should be, we were moved to see his attitude towards the employees, who also made us feel that we were in a hotel that is like home.

We visited Amsterdam for my daughter’s spring break in March and absolutely loved this hotel. The hotel was located in a very convenient location where we were minutes away from the must see museums and luxury shopping street. We loved how it was not in the city center but was close enough to walk everywhere that we wanted to visit (Anne Frank haus, canal boat ride, etc). The architecture of the hotel was one of a kind, mixing both the elegant original conservatorium with chic modern elements. We also enjoyed the Barbounia restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. They had a great selection of breakfast items and we looked forward to going every morning. Our favorite was the conservatorium omelette with Dutch shrimps. The barista was so friendly and nice and was especially kind to our 8 year old daughter. One of the best fries we have ever had was actually right at this hotel! Saving the best for last, we would like to thank Etan at the concierge and his team for making our trip so smooth and memorable. I contacted them a few months before our trip to ask about activities and they kindly let us know that we will be visiting during busy season and that we should prearrange activities. Their replies were always very quick and helpful.They made sure we had secured all the tickets to the museums and Anne Frank Haus. They prepared our tickets and restaurant reservation details for the day for us each day so we didn’t have to worry about them. Etan was very knowledgeable and gave fabulous restaurant recommendations that we wouldn’t have known otherwise. Etan was also very welcoming and friendly-my daughter loved saying good morning to him everyday. We are so lucky to have had such a great concierge team help us during our stay. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to go back!

It was a great experience, Etam was lovely!! He was so friendly and gave us the nicest time. He was super professional and very nice, I would definitely recommend and come again. Also the hotel is beautiful and provides great service! Highly recommend!

Amazing Akasha pop-up located in the Conservatorium Hotel. I booked a 60-minute Relaxing massage, which was great! All credits to Shammi. She was very welcoming and asked for your preferences. A suite was turned into a trea**ent room with enough space and coziness. Thank you Shammi for this great experience. It was more than great!
