Great place to stay in Amorgos. Tholaria is a perfect little village with a number of restaurants. The hotel is family run therefore they really looked after you. The breakfast was good and the rooms were every spacious and spotless Wii definitely stay there again if we visit Amorgos again

Really excellent hotel. Lovely family who run the hotel, high quality rooms and amenities. The town it's situated just below is beautiful with a number of eating spots. We swam at the beach down below the hotel most days. The pool was lovely to lounge around and have a drink. While there, our family took up the options of a cooking class, donkey ride, and hike in the hills. Really couldn't fault Vigla or Amorgos; a wonderful stay and visit.

Excellent hotel with a wonderful view!! The service was very friendly and kind! The location is amazing! The rooms were so clear and comfortable! We can't wait to come back as soon as possible! Thanks for everything!

We had the most magically 3 night stay at Hotel Vigla. From start to end everyone who works at the hotel will exceptional! The matriarch of the family is heading the kitchen and serving up delectable delights using the freshest ingredients from their family garden. The breakfast which is included in your stay was the best I have had at any hotel. Varied and interesting with local dishes and home baked goods. The location is ideal for day hikes to other small villages and also to the port and beaches. The only problem with Hotel Vigla is that at one point you will need to say goodbye. We will be returning next year!!

Stayed here 4 nights, wonderful hotel with great views, very helpful and friendly staff and great home cooked food.Rooms are very comfortable,with lovely balconies and spotless. There are lovely pools and bar area and open air restaurant. Highly recommend

We had a great time at the hotel. Amorgos is a beautiful, relaxing island and the hotel radiated the same vibe. We were affected by the fishermen strikes and arrived a day late because of it. They were understanding, gave us a lovely welcome and had the great Dimitris show us a map to inform us of the best places to visit in the limited time that we had. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had a great view! I would definitely recommend, especially if your goal is to hike around the island.

Amazing staff! Kind and accommodating. They shared good information about hikes around the area, and made our short stay very memorable. Great view and breeze from the restaurant and the food was also incredible.

What a lovely, relaxed and easy going place at the top of hill above Aegalis in Tholaria. It feels like a family run business with excellent breakfast choice and variation each day. The rooms were just right, not large, but had space for everything and to be able to do things ( like making your tea and coffee in the morning). The shower was a bit small and the a/c takes a little to figure out (everything needs to be shut tight for it to come on). The blue door shades could use some WD40 and rust protection. But you’re in Amorgos and you only slowly realise how relaxed you are becoming and pleasant and friendly are the people. It’s a popular village so parking in the evening can be difficult, you might need to park down the hill and walk up but it’s no problem. Overall we loved it, would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a week here whilst visiting the Cyclades as a family. We returned to the island after 13 years and the hospitality we felt at Hotel Vigla was heart warming. The staff were lovely and the hotel has a perfectly crafted feeling of a very relaxed a**osphere but the staff are always there and happy to give you a great and very friendly service. The pool, the breakfasts and the location are perfect as well and our family had an incredible time. We can't wait to return. Thankyou Vigla staff for a lovely holiday x
