Duja Didim - Ultra All Inclusive

Just got back from a 7 day break with my partner with some good and bad points . Resort is nice but quite dirty and not looked after with the staff not been to blame just overworked and not enough of them with the managers been quite rude especially the way they speak to the staff. Food was average and the drinks what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Sleep quality is quite poor due to thin walls . One major poor point was the main person who works in the restaurant buffet bar who was early 20s and quite small,, extremely rude overall especially towards women (quite creepy) however the bar staff everywhere else are friendly. The Starbucks and main bar where the reception is the staff are great and very friendly. Personally wouldn’t go back but however was a cheep last minute deal at £550pp so I can’t complain but for June July etc it goes up quite a bit so I would recommend a different hotel if you want value

We had a fantastic week at Duja Didim. The hotel was spotless and staff so friendly especially Ata 'deadpool'. Food was amazing and there was a massive selection at buffet. There was also burgers, kofta and pasta at one restaurant then if you went to beach there was chicken kebab, fried chicken and kofta with free ice lollies. For the sweet tooth there was a caravan with waffle and pancakes/crepes. There was a free mini bar in room which was stock up daily. There was enough sunloungers the pool towels nice and fluffy. The only downside we had a family village room and there is not much storage and not alot of room. We would definitely stay hete again.

I’m not one for writing reviews but here gos … The complex is beautiful has so much potential but not as family friendly as we expected! Alot of managers & needs more workers! My 3 year old was bored; the kids club looks good - spotless & clean but that’s it - we went 3times & every time there was very limited activities almost empty ball pit & a play kitchen, he’s quite sporty & when asked was given bowling but it was quickly put back away, asked for crafts & was told not today!? - quite frustrating & confusing for a kids club, activities / games should be accessible not locked away, parks situated in the kids club but some kids was told that activity is over now!? (Although this might of been due to the heat as it’s not covered but would definitely benefit a canopy) the kids entertainment definitely needs more staff as 1 poor girl did this by herself & didn’t appear to have a day off in the 9days we were there! Splash park looks fab my boy loves water slides but didn’t enjoy this one as it’s very splashy literally can’t use a slide on the kids bit without cold water pouring down / splashing in your eyes - sensory overload for younger kids! Some travel companies show 2 splash parks (also shown on the slide shows around the complex) so asked where the other was located in hope of less splash but was told that’s an old picture. Stunning views & beach although it’s gritty (not for sandcastles), perfect for playing in the sea tho as really shallow! & as other reviews - tables was always dirty (if you weren’t first in the cue for opening) even when cleaned there still full of sauce & crumbs as done so ruff / quickly we cleaned most tables are selfs! We visited the burger bar most days to get the kids food but was very hit & miss sometimes we waited over an hour for the food & most days got are own drinks for the bar. Although I’ve written my faults it is a lovely complex & probably great for adults / older kids.

Great hotel, nice service. Child-friendly :)) we've been here for a week and you can't get bored here :)) Delicious food :)) the animation Team id great the activities are nice the night shows are amazing and the bars and restaurants are very nice the staff iść friendly

Great holiday really enjoyed it . Stayed for a week with my 2 children , sister and her husband. Rooms clean , spacious and lovely. Views were great . My kids loved the pool always wanting to be in it . Personally I had no issues getting a sun bed for all 5 of us there was plenty of space . Splash park was very good we did only use once as kids wanted to be in the main pool mostly. The times for splash Park could be better however I understand that staff do need breaks especially in the hot weather as it was hitting 35 the days we were there. Plenty of food and plenty of choice, I'm quite a fussy eater so ate the same mostly but I found there was plenty of choices for people. We had some professional photos taken by ridvan who was a pleasure to meet . He was very friendly and chatty and did a great job . We have come away with some amazing photos so big shout out to him for creating some lasting memories for us. Thank you . We also took advantage of the water sports a number of times and it was a amazing experience as we have never done this before . Whilst a little pricey we still enjoyed every minute. I would definitely return and really didn't want to leave . One of the best holidays I have had.

The worst holiday I had. I am not sure from where to start.. resort is lovely but not looked after, service is poor, the same food each day and tasteless. Kids menu was poor, my daughter has managed to eat just fries and chicken nuggets from the beach bar. My daughter loves to spend time in kids club, in this resort she has spent 1h and never went back, no activities interaction with the kids. Resort has few pools 1 big one, with 2 entries on one side, so you need to go around the pool to find sunbeds. Way to many beds by the pool, no space to walk through. The pool is dirty, havent seen been cleaned. We have tried to use small pools, unfortunately the sunbeds and pools were covered in bird poo. The beach is rocky, unsafe to go for swim, one side has better entrance, but water was in oil due to boats. Evening shows.. you need to entertain yourself, 2 days competition between the holidaymakers, bingo (you need to buy tickets), 3 days some shows. All inclusive hotel but you need to pay €5 for small box of popcorn or candy floss... Never going back again!

The Good; Our room itself was very nice. It was on the 7th floor so we had excellent views across the bay area. The Waffle/Pancake van, Starbuck coffee shop and Seaside kebab hut were all really good additions and served good quality products. The Aqua Park had some excellent slides, but please also read the end of this review for further details about safety. The Bad; The transfer to the hotel was nearly 2 hours by coach from Bodrum airport. The standard of food in the main restaurant was poor and the service wasn't great at all with to many unsupervised staff and plates being left piled on vacated tables far to long. It was sometimes impossible to find clean cutlery and the food options themsleves were very limited with little change day to day. The main pool areas is crowded and/or dirty, with no spaces between loungers and tree leaves and glasses left far to long without being cleared. The 2 smaller pools areas we visited were covered in bird poo (Floor and Loungers) and we also noticed several broken loungers at one of the pools. The beach area was covered in stones and rocks not sand and in many places it looked unsafe. Plus, the resorts watersports shop had numerous boats and jet ski's parked up meaning there was oil on the sea itself which made it a little unpleasant to swim in. The pathways besides the aqua park are essentially still a work site; with various materials stacked up, workers present and unfinished bits of construction. The kids club was the worst I have experienced. My daughter normally looks forward to holidays for these clubs for the activities etc. She went once for an hour and then begged us not to take her again as it was boring and they didn't do any activities. The staff in general seemed to have limited consideration for and patience with guests and little or no training about there jobs, definitely not service with a smile... The Ugly; My experience of the Aqua Park was very bad. It is crowded and whilst some of the slides themselves were excellent, the pools you plung into after the slides have small rocks and sand in them, and the safety protocols / life guards are poor. On our 2nd day I ended up striking my elbow on the bottom of the pool (and hitting a patch of small stones) after riding a medium slide, this resulted in a deep laceration to my elbow; requiring 3 stiches and a Tetanus jab and meant I could'nt get wet for the rest of the holiday. The worst part is that none of the lifeguards noticed or seemed to care about the accident and seemed to think it wasn't that bad once they were aware.

All perfect, location.children attractions, see wiew activities The animation team are awsome friendly and entertaining food is delicious drinks at the bar are very good and lot of options to try something local and of course international too

Honest review We been here a few days and we're ready to go home, even the kids are ready to go home. First of all we paid for a room with a bunk bed as this what our kids wanted, on arrival we were told their are no rooms with bunk beds left. At reception they said that they would contact us the next day to get us in one, we haven't heard anything 3 days later. Their is 4 of us in this room, only 2 cups and 2 tea bags, we can't even have a cup of tea together. Only 2 chairs on the balcony so we can't even enjoy the balcony as a family. Every day at breakfast, lunch and dinner we have to clean the tables our selves as staff are chatting. The night buffet made us all sick and have been in the hotel room all day. Polish guests are very rude, push in front of ques in the restuarant. 90% of staff are miserable, especially in the restuarant. Any request seems so difficult from staff. Strongly advising people to visit another hotel. Not the usual friendly Turkish hospitality at this hotel. Only good things are the kids slides and the beach. Only nice staff are the young lad that does the ice cream, Ali the jet 2 rep and the gozleme lady who is hidden away in the dirt for some reason. Strongly advise you not to waste your hard earned money or holidays here.
