Grand Hotel Spiaggia

Great experience at Grand Hotel Spiaggia in Alassio. The room was so spacefull and the view from the balcony made the ticket. Nice service and good food to the Six floor. Last day we went to the top floor to dinner and the atmosfere was so magic with candles and nice background music. Also the view was amazing. U can see all the cost from there. Thank you. 5 star We'll back soon.

I will start with two positive things about this hotel: it’s clean and the staff is friendly. However it is way too overpriced for what it is. 226€ a night for mediocre room facing another building with no welcome free bottles of water, no bathrobes, no slippers no room service and very basic interior. In my opinion the 4 stars are a big exaggeration for what this hotel has to offer. For 120€ it would be fine but for twice the price I certainly expect much more. We will not come back and I don’t recommend it if you want your money’s worth.

3rd year in Liguria, first time staying in Alassio. I cannot understand why everything is more expensive than in other places, 10-15 minutes away on the coast. It is more touristic, but that in fact is a disadvantage as there are huge crowds especially in the evening, you have to squeeze to pass by on the main shopping street. Umbrella prices : around 50 EUR / day for an umbrella and 2 basic sunbeds ?? There is a public beach if you walk to 20 minutes to the edge of Alassio, there it's around 30 EUR but was fully booked for the season, not that you would want to walk 20 minutes back and forth in the heat. All the other private beaches seem aligned around 50 EUR. Also the private beaches open at 9:00 ? If you want a stroll or dip earlier you have to go all the way to the public beach. This is not the case in other resorts in Liguria. Now to the hotel, location is OK, beach front, clean and breakfast is truly very good, way above average with lots of options. We didn't opt for sea view rooms, as we were on the beach all day anyway, don't think it's worth the price difference. A few negative points that can be bothering though : - the pool on the top is super small, if there are more than 6 people around it looks already crowded. - you have to give your car keys and they are parking the car and bringing it when needed. Although we asked for our car 1 hour before we needed it, still had to wait 20 minutes extra, not OK when you have a fixed schedule. Also 29 EUR/ day for parking, in previous years in other locations this was included, at no extra charge. - the hotel's restaurant lunch and dinner is too expensive. There are 4 courses, each with 3 options that you can choose from. The food is very good nothing to say, but 55 EUR seems exaggerated. +10 EUR if you want it served one floor above, on the terrace. Weird. We only tried once, so many good places to eat around.

This is a 4 star hotel with fabulous service. Friendly and efficient. The breakfast is 5 star and highly recommended. The parking service works fine even when chock a block. English and German spoken!

Ottimo hotel di altissimo livello. Come dal titolo quasi un 5 stelle. Sala da pranzo con vista mozzafiato sul mare di Alassio. Abbiamo pranzato al ristorante dell'hotel ed è veramente di ottimo livello come per il servizio. Colazione da Grand Hotel! Un particolare ringraziamento all'hotel manager Gabriele, che ci ha coccolato per l'intera permanenza. Veramente professionale. Grazie di tutto. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Bel hôtel situé en front de mer, choisir une chambre avec vue mer c'est plus sympa! chambre tout confort très propre , matelas un peu trop souple à mon gout, très calme à part le bruit des vagues ! petit déjeuner copieux le restaurant se trouve au dernier étage avec une vue panoramique sur la baie. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Le bar a de très bons cocktails.

E anche Pasqua e Pasquetta l'abbiamo passata al Grand Hotel. Rassicurati dalle previsioni meteo non ci siamo fatti mancare il lungo week end di Pasqua nella magnifica Alassio. Siamo ormai di casa pertanto un colpo di telefono e riconoscendoci il gentilissimo personale della reception ci ha confermato la disponibilità. Inutile dire quanto alta sia la qualità dei servizi e lo standard di professionalità dello staff. Continueremo a trascorrere qua il nostro tempo libero e consigliare il Grand Hotel Spiaggia. Grazie di cuore.

Internet Auftritt und Buchungsportal, enthält überall unverschämte , versteckte Extrakosten. ( Parkplatz, Strandbenutzung, Liegen/Sonnenschirme, Dachrestaurant) Stornierungsgebühren in voller Buchungshöhe unmittelbar zum Zeitpunkt der Unterzeichnung und Bestätigung der Buchung !! Dieses Geschäftsgebahren sollte man nicht akzeptieren und einen großen Bogen um dieses Hotel machen!! Nur mit Hilfe von Booking . com konnten wir aus dieser Abripperfalle entkommen

Buongiorno siamo appena tornati da una mini vacanza. L'hotel è delizioso e ha una vista davvero meravigliosa sul golfo, e inoltre comodissimo per raggiungere il centro di Alassio. Cinque minuti neanche a piedi e si e' già nel paesino pieno di bei negozi e ristorantini. Il personale è gentile e simpatico, e soprattutto educato e disponibile. Complimenti! Ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Un caro saluto al molto professionale direttore Giuliano, al bravissimo Massimiliano, Andrea, Alessia e Vittoria.
