Royal Wings Hotel

We came as 2 families with children 5,8,11,13 years. We were all blown away with how amazing this place was. We come to Turkey each year to a 5* hotel previously been to the Voyage in Belek but due to the 9k price we opted for this hotel. It was very much on par for entertainment, children’s activities etc however the staff made this holiday for us. We were waited on by Hussain servings our drinks around the pool on skates, he worked his socks off and was so friendly to all of us. The entertainment team were great. IBO was a favourite with the kids. The hotel and surrounding areas were spotless and we found we had so much choice for food. We did the Italian A la carte 1 night and it was much better than expected. The only down side is you don’t get any Al a cartes included. If you’re on the fence please go you won’t be disappointed! I’ve never left a review but thought they deserved it

Lovely holiday although very very hot. Large pools with good pool activities. Entertainment good Drinks amazing, Food lively and plenty of choice Beach great, Sandy, little pier Indoor games area was good to cool off Clean hotel with lovely staff

Honest review and one I wish I would have seen before arriving as my expectations was set high due to the hotel being highly recommended by family. Pros - the hotel is perfect for kids, there is so much for kids to be kept entertained with the waterpark and rides. Kids won't be disappointed with what is on offer for them, including ice cream and lolly ices. Cons - the hotel is made for kids rather than adults, the food is very repetitive in the night so you do get sick of eating the same thing. I would say it is average at best, the only good thing about the food was the kebabs and pizza's in the day. The pizza is amazing and was the only good tasting thing whilst there. The beds are not comfortable at all, waking up each day with a sore back from the very hard beds. Not much health and safety on one of the rides, I was not strapped in and luckily it was myself not a child who wasn't strapped in as the ride itself was a fast ride and went up in the air. Money and personal items was taken from the room, not much but still for things to be stolen out of your room just changes your experience. A small amount of money was taken out of a bag that was left out the next day, all other money was left in the safe but this had been left in a bag from the night before and forgetting to take out. Again, it wasn't a massive amount but still £40 was taken and also my daughters headphones was stolen. We had came with a large group and one of the other parties who's room was next to ours, had a bracelet taken. The bracelet was not expensive but could have been a sentimental item, the thought of someone going through your belongings is not what you want for a holiday. There was many times I had zipped my bags up and coming back to the rooms they had been unzipped so it was obvious someone had been going through our things. If you like a nice cocktail on holiday, don't expect to get one here or much service at all. You have to get a drink yourself as there isn't many people coming round waiting on you which is something you would expect at a 5 star hotel. As I have said the only good thing about the hotel is what is on offer for kids but would expect adults to be taking into consideration for their experience too as it should be a holiday for the whole family to enjoy. I wouldn't say this is a 5 start hotel so depending on how much you pay hotel would determine whether or not it is worth staying in.

We've been to this hotel twice before - I feel as though the standards have slipped a bit in the last few years. The entertainment / animation team were great. In particular, Karim, Artista, and Ibo who have been there a few years are great. The daytime activities (darts, water polo, archery etc) were good and the crew really do make an effort to speak to everyone around the pool. My critisicm of the entertainment is only that there could be a little more in terms of options in the evening. Our kids don't do the mini disco, and if you don't want to watch the show in the amphitheatre, then there is nowhere else to go - the pool bar entertainment doesn't start until 10.30pm and the Piano bar never ever has any music in it. (Piano bar in name only!!) It would make a world of difference to this hotel if there was some live music in the lobby bar (7-10 pm) to give you somewhere to go before the pool bar livens up. (Hassan, if you are reading this), please please consider adding nightly music in the lobby going forwards. The pool is the real star of the show here - you can almost always find a bed somewhere round the hotel which is a real bonus. (although we did have a favourite spot). And the pool was nice and warm at this time of year (End of May). The only downside is that the floor can get a little slippy in places so take care. In my opinion, the drinks have got worse over the last 3 years and it is very much pot luck depending on who makes the cocktails as to whether they are nice or not. The lobby bar is the best, the snack bar ok, and the pool bar / beach bar the worst. Similar story with the food. While some of it is pretty good (and the puddings, the ice cream choice, and the crisps at the bar have got better since last year), the overall food experience has declined. The food options are more limited than they used to be with almost identical offerings each night. We couldn't tell the difference between several of the themed nights as the specials were basically the same in all cases. There were no longer any big prawns on fish night for example. We didn't bother with the a la cartes this year as the price has gone up and having done them all before, I don't think it is worth the additional price as they are OK, but nothing special The main buffet is v busy and there are not enough staff to get drinks and clear tables. This is sad, as a few years' ago it felt like there were many more staff here - because of this, the main restaraunt felt much more 3 star than 5 star with plates piling up on your table and no chance of getting a second drink. We had to hunt to find a waiter to get a refill every night of the week! Snack bar options remain great, and the turkish tent is the star here - the turkish pizza man has been on site for 23 years apparently! The parties (foam and friday night were good). But if you are going to take little ones to the friday night party, be aware that the music volume was DANGEROUSLY loud - I couldn't

Absolutely amazing!! We just gone back from 7 nights. Friendly staff everywhere in the hotel. My only fault is that the cocktails were not very appealing. The food was amazing. We will definitely be booking for next year. The man cooking the turkish pizzas needs a raise. The nicest food I've ever eaten.

Greetings and thanks to the management of Royal Wings Hotel I am Iman with my wife Arzoo from Iran. I have been back from the hotel for two days. First of all, I would like to thank the management and all the hotel staff who did their best to make us have a good time. I will tell all the weaknesses and strengths of the hotel in order weak points 1. Lack of welcome personnel, we entered the hotel at 9:30, but we were not given any welcome drink, this is common in five star hotels. 2. I and several other travelers liked to stay up late at night and talk and play different games. The next weakness of the hotel is that there was no place for people who like to stay up like us. And wherever we sat, we were faced with the warning of the hotel officials 3. The dinner time is very short, we often reached the restaurant at the last minute and in a hurry, if you extend the dinner time, the passengers will definitely be more comfortable. 4. One of the water park equipment has a major problem that both us and several other people were injured in that equipment. The snake slide has a corner in one of the parts that the two-person tube hits on the way back. You can fix that part. Cover it with foam or rubber to prevent impact to a large extent. My wife's shoulder and arm and my own arm still hurt from the blow that occurred five days ago I will post a photo of the part where the collision takes place 5. We stayed in room 1345 until the fourth day, soap and shampoo were not charged in our room, and finally I informed the guest relation department and this problem was solved in less than ten minutes. 6. Two of the evening amphitheater programs were very poor, one was Chinese dance and one was juggling, the African and Brazilian dance programs were good. Fortunately, I did not see any other weakness Strengths 1. The lobby was very clean and modern, the furniture was selected from the best materials, models and colors 2. The hotel food was excellent, the variety was relatively small, but the quality of the food was excellent 3. The rooms are very nice, new and tidy, cleaning was done, everything was perfect 4. The hotel staff were all excellent, all attended to our needs with a smile, the pool piano staff were all excellent. 5. Do you know a good presenter like Mustafa in the whole world? . It takes art to play a game of darts between passengers. In my opinion, Mustafa is the best in the whole world, he is very intelligent and literate 6. Can someone like Ibo and Karim lead pool games and nightly dances at the pool bar? These were the best 7. The employees of Gezalam Bar were excellent, very kind and friendly 8. The employees of Fire City Entertainment are great, we are satisfied with everyone 9. The overall view of the hotel was very magnificent and the place and pool were very clean and satisfactory. 10. The a la carte snack restaurant and the late night restaurant were excellent and satisfying. 11. Thank you very much to our room designer

I am currently staying in your hotel. One of the animation staff named Ozjan is very rude and unprofessional and his existence has caused the dissatisfaction of many hotel guests. The rooms are not cleaned properly, they don't even put soap in the room

Beautiful hotel. Very modern. Rooms have comfortable super king beds. As other reviewers have said walls are thin and you can hear neighbours but not an issue unless they are very loud. The service throughout the hotel and level of cleanliness is second to none. I have stayed in hotels in Dubai and Las Vegas and honestly this is up with the best. The food in main restaurant is very good quality and great selection. Service great. During day there are various food stalls like pizza, kebabs, baked potato etc and a restaurant near beach serving burgers pasta KFC style chicken etc. At midnight another restaurant opens. Great if you arrive late as you can get a proper sit down meal. Pools so kid safe with sloping steps. Best I have ever seen. There is a waterpark in front of hotel as well as a funfair with various rides like big wheel, dodgems, trampoline etc. Now for the negatives. Entertainment at pool bar is awful. One night it was bingo which lasted 20 minutes and that was it. To make it worse you paid for ticket and prizes were mainly hotel facilities like beach bag, fish foot spa etc. Bingo is usually cash prizes in other hotels. Karaoke one night lasted 45 mins. Live band 2 nights. Saturday was worst. Singer was awful and forgot words to first 2 songs. It would have been better if she forgot words to everything. The band were not playing music as you could see they were just pretending to play instruments. The band the other night were little better. Why not just play Turkish party music which everyone loves. Drinks in hotel were mainly local brands. Some international brands were available but these were kept out of sight and you had to ask. No selection of beer only Efes. A 5 star hotel should have a better choice. I have stayed in other hotels in area and had better drinks. My last complaint is the late night bar. It is next to restaurant so lots of people walking through. It is not big and there is limited seating. Lots of people have to sit at the bar and it can get noisy which in turn attracts managers attention. I would like to see bar moved to somewhere more relaxing. These complaints aside I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return. Great staff and so well managed.

Me & my family haven’t gone on holiday in 6 years so were looking for a resort that would allow us to have a great time. Which we did. It was absolutely amazing even when it was a bit cloudy we still had so much to do: the arcade, bowling, fun fair. The entertainment team were amazing making our experience fulfilled. With bingo night, karaoke night, live music and the evening shows: Turkish dancing, magic show & acrobatics. Food&drink were incredible too lots of choice. Along with the buffet in the main area of the hotel you have mini huts by the pool and the aqua park at the front; hotdogs, Ice cream, jacket potatoes, pizza, kabab & fresh sandwiches. Down at the beach there’s a restaurant that you order food at. And there’s a buffet of bread rolls & salads. Bedrooms were always clean & lovely presented however the only problem was the walls are literally paper thin so you can hear your neighbours next door. Apart from that bedrooms were good. Aqua park was unreal they have loads of slides there’s no way you could get bored at this resort.
