Perfect for us. So long as you are okay with simple this place is perfect. It could be a tiny bit cleaner but I’m being really fussy. It has everything you need. Wish we could have seen it in the daylight. Definitely need a car, which we knew and had. Was a good base to do the golden circle

Easy to find quiet and adorable place with great amenities! Perfect stay! Tata the dog was our favorite!

The place is very clean and the rooms are big enough The beds were comfortable I don't understand why the bedding is not prepared in advance and I have to start sorting it out. In terms of kitchen equipment, there are almost no dishes. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay! The cottages are beautiful--very warm, charming and comfy. We only stayed a night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The communication with our hosts was great--we didn't meet them in person, but the check-in info and key code entry worked great. The town of Akranes is 3 minutes away and we had a nice dinner at a Middle Eastern restaurant and refueled the car. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Very well maintained and clean cabines in the middle of..nowhere but not far away from the road. All the family loved it. And we loved the dogs, the chicken and and all the rustic atmosphere. To be noted that Arcanes is a pleasant little town not too far from Reykjavik.

Cozy cottage. We had everything we needed. A bit too hot in the room upon arrival but easy to adjust. I did not enjoy having to make my own beds upon arrival though....

Nice cottage. Clean. Well stocked with cooking utensils.
Didnt get the "welcome email" that has the instruction to get the keys. Had to call owner a couple times.
Gudlaug bath nearby is awesome.
