Positive - awesome pool and deck - awesome view from pool and deck - located close to other areas of interest, notably ait ben hadou medina - very typical - rustic but clean and comfortable. - clean bathroom - large bedroom Negative - barking downs periodically through night- not the riad's fault but annoying nonetheless - 1 night was sufficient, not much else to do there

Highly recommended, lovely building and grounds. Great pool. Incredibly tranquil and peaceful. Dinner was good. Really enjoyed the stay. Interesting building made from original materials. The room was spacious and well equipped.

Wonderful location close to Ouarzazate with outstanding views. Very kind people guaranteeing a perfect service. Dinner at night really well prepared and served with candle light in their very cosy dining room. Check out the open air in the dark!

A perfect escape away in a stunning and historical location. The staff were so kind and welcoming, going the extra mile. The food was delicious and it was all so peaceful. Definitely a place to unwind and soak up the beauty. It was so good to get some fresh air, capture some epic sunsets and sunrises and star gaze at the magic in the night sky. Highly recommend - we’d love to come back here.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July during our expedition to Ait Ben Haddou and the surrounding area. First, the rooms were very reasonably priced. The common area and rooms are nicely decorated in the local style. The AC in our rooms worked very well which was critical for a July trip. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

The riad is slightly outside of the Ait Ben Haddou village, but so close that you can do everything by foot. It is just a 10 minutes’ walk to the historic village on the other side of the (usually dried out) river. Due to the slightly elevated location the riad offers silence and great views. Behind the riad there is a hill which you can climb (5-10 minutes) to have even better views of the sunrise or of the stars at night. Be sure to have a torch with you if you go there at night: the path is not really difficult, but nevertheless steep at some points and the markings are easy to miss. The riad is well equipped and nicely decorated in the local style. Our rooms were spacious and even the shower worked very well, which is not a given in rural areas of Morocco. We very much enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we received outstanding support in sorting out a problem for which the riad had no responsibility at all.

This riad is incredibly good value for money, the place is not the easiest to find (especially at night) but once you're there you will instantly like it. Is on a hill overlooking Ait-Benhaddou, with a nice pool (although badly maintained at least when we were there). The inside is incredibly well decorated, and the food won't disappoint you, although I found the portions slighly smaller than the average, and they didn't even have fizzy drinks.

We were the third visitors since the onset of COVID. Understandably, the place was in a semi-comatose state, but every single request we had was met.
