I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum. Last week, I stayed this property for a business trip for 2 nights. There were two reservations for each night. Normally, in this case, the hotel booking system combines the two reservations into one reservation. So while checking in, I informed about the two separate reservations to the front desk and thought everything will be sorted. I checked out after 2 nights and paid for both nights and room service expenses. But only one night was posted to my Marriott bonvoy account. When I called the hotel, they said that the expenses of first night were transferred to second night and now it will be counted as one night only. It took my multiple calls to even talk to duty manager who was busy and never bothered to call back. General Manager was not available. According to them it is my fault that I did not settle the bill of first night separately, when they didn't bother to even tell me that or ask if before transferring the first night expenses to the second night. No recognition of my Marriott status. They had no idea of welcome benefit. When I asked for it, after sometime calling around, they said that the welcome points will be posted which they also never happened. The front desk and duty manager (Inderjit) don't understand or care about Marriott Bonvoy elite members. The response to me was that you complain wherever you can.
