This is a newly renovated, top-floor 3BR / 4BT 2-story loft with cathedral ceilings at the Rising Bear Condos. Brand new kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, paint, floors, rug, leather sofas, TVs, foosball, arcade -- everything is super clean and brand new. We are a family with 3 kids and starting to rent out our unit on the weekends that we're not using it. You walk 5 mins to Stratton mountain to ski and to the village which has plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream, coffee, pizza, etc. Also, there is a dedicated shuttle that picks you up in the heated garage and drops off right at base mountain.The unit has plenty of space for 2 families and comfortably sleeps 9 people -- there are two master bedrooms each with its own bath and a kid's bedroom with four twin beds and 1 full-size bed. The new kitchen has a large counter with 4 stools making it a centerpiece for breakfast in the morning and wine/conversation in the evening. The dining room table is set for 6, and the two leaves expand the seating for larger parties. The upstairs loft is a large and fun spot for kids to play on the arcade console w/ 1,000+ games (Pac-Man, Frogger, etc), foosball and bean bag, and plenty of space for air mattresses if you need more space. The balcony overlooks the valley and mountains and is a perfect way to start your day with a cup of coffee. Washer and dryer in the unit. Plus a full-time on-site caretaker.Out front, you have a heated outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, a sauna, a firepit, and ice skating (skate rentals available). You have 2 reserved parking spots in the heated garage near the elevator and a private locker for your skis/equipment. Our fitness center is a short drive or walk away and permits guests -- we spend hours there with the kids in the olympic size pool, indoor tennis & pickle courts, weight room, cycle room, yoga classes, and massage room. Fully stocked kitchen and 50” HD Roku TV. Extra large windows provide lots of natural light and beautiful mountain views. Walk to Snowshed or Ramshead lifts or take the free shuttle in the winter. It runs approximately every 15 minutes Friday-Sunday from 8am-4:30pm. The bus stop is at the entrance to the parking lot. Ski-home weather permitting. The sign for the Trail Creek ski-home trail is visible from the Snowshed express lift, by the fourth lift pole. This unit is fully updated featuring a new 50” Roku enabled smart TV (4K Ultra HD), cable, WIFI, washer/dryer, and a new sofa bed. Apres, mountain viewing, and stargazing, it has the best view at Pico.Elevator building with ski locker and laundry facilities on the first floor, and unlimited free wood for the fireplace.Location: not only located closer to Boston, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut than Sugarbush, Stowe and others to the North but just minutes from Killington to the East and Rutland to the West. Also located right at the base of Pico Ski Resort, right across from the main lodge you cannot beat this spot. Parking: remember parking hassles last year due to COVID restrictions? Not here. When you stay at our place you automatically have access to the Pico lot and two car spaces.If you stay at Killington you are limited to the few choices there that are always crazy busy and super expensive, and farther away from the affordable and convenient shopping, restaurants, etc in Rutland. This is the sweet spot, trust us, as we have been coming to Vermont and skied every mountain in the State since the 1980s, and we picked Pico for all of these reasons.Pico is the "locals" mountain, much less hassle to get to and around, it feels like a private mountain, yet Killington is 5 minutes away for more action. Regardless of the season, this location has it all. Fantastic mountain biking trails are very close by, and you can walk to the Long Trail or AT for hiking or snowshoeing. Snowmobile trails are right next to the entrance to Pico as well. Kayak or canoe or just swim in the Chittenden Reservoir minutes away also, or Lake Bomoseen.
