The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. However, the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, which was a bit inconvenient.

Wasn't expecting much but ended up so pleasantly surprised! My elderly parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! One of the best places we stayed in Iceland this trip. The Guesthouse manager (matnus? Sorry I'm not sure how his name is spelt!) was kind enough to help us arrange a last minute change of room as we changed our minds and wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and everything was lovely. Squeaky clean, even for a clean freak like me. The place was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed there is a thick layer of cushion over the sofa bed so this was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on. My parents also said the double bed was very very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this Guesthouse!

Beachfront resort but I only got a skylight. Even the bathroom had a better view. The room had 2 beds but linens were removed for one since I was a solo traveler and only 1 towel was provided. No shoes policy helped keep the house clean. That is very good. I didn’t use the kitchen much except to make tea but seems like it is in good condition. Dishwashing liquid however was in a glass jar instead of pump. It’s strange cos you end up using too much for a small spoon and the jar is very slippery. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hot food along with homemade breads. It was the best breakfast I had in my 2 weeks in Iceland. Location is an hour drive from Egilsstaðir via some mountain pass, gravel roads and along the coast road. The views are breathtaking. But it’s a small town and if you don’t intend to hike around the area then it might not be worth spending so much time getting to and fro your accommodation.

ที่พักเป็นลักษณะบ้านไม้เป็นหลังๆ ที่นอนหลับสบาย ภายในห้องมีเครื่องทำความร้อน อุปกรณ์ทำอาหารทำครัวครบถ้วน บริเวณนั้นจะไม่มีร้านอาหาร ควรเตรียมอาหารมาทำเอง รอบๆ ที่พักสวยงาม บรรยากาศดี ถ้าท้องฟ้าปลอดโปร่ง สามารถมองเห็นแสงเหนือได้จากบริเวณนี้

TTài khoản kháchHostal para alojarse cuando vas de paso por el este de Islandia. Alojamiento muy bien equipado y con varias zonas comunes. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Mal insonorizadas, demasiado ruido, las habitaciones dan a la sala de estar. Pocas duchas, en la planta de abajo los WC y duchas estan incorporados lo que genera que se acumule gente.

CCathy u. FamilyDer Aufenthalt im Vikingcafe war sehr angenehm. Wir kamen am Abend im bei Nieselregen an. Da haben wir uns sehr über den Wasserkocher und Tee und Kaffee gefreut. Nette Gastgeber, leckeres Frühstück im netten rustikalen Ambiente. Am nächsten Tag schien die Sonne, der Berg Vestrahorn vor dem schwarzen Dünenstrand war magisch und wunderschön. Die Zeit um alles zu Entdecken leider viel zu kurz.

LLin Wei KwaExcellent location near the end of the street, with nice views of the river and mountain/waterfalls. Room was a little too squeezy even for a family of four (with two small kids), but spotless and cozy. Common area was well stocked with beverages and ideal for socialising.
