Attend daughter’s convocation and stayed here for 4 days. Very good location with bus and tram stations in walking distance. Walking to Trinity College Dublin just 15-20 minutes away, and you can feel the pace of the city along your way.
What I like most is Leonardo Hotel provides iron board in the room. Each floor of the hotel also provides water dispenser.

This hotel Is perfect for visiting Dublin. The hotel staff are brilliant, especially Caoimhe and Martha who are very friendly and helpful. The location Is great, everything is nearby but you still are guaranteed a good nights sleep. If you are using the Airport the next morning it's perfect because the Airport shuttle bus is a short walk away from the hotel.
The restaurant and Bar are also excellent.
I will definitely be using this hotel again.

Honestly, don’t think twice about staying here. I had a lovely stay at this hotel and il definitely be rebooking when I revisit Dublin. I booked the studio as it was just me travelling solo! It was clean, comfortable, and definetly sustainable. It was compact but also spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The location was great and made getting around the city very easy. Downstairs in the lobby was a very relaxing and moody aesthetic, perfect for working and to the other side was the dining area. There’s so much to unpack here, just book it!!

The location of this hotel is good, with excellent restaurants within minutes of walking. The room is spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is a nice start to the day although if you are staying for more than 2-3 days, a change of menu and food options would be great. Overall, recommended!

We had an outstanding stay at the Croke Park Hotel in Dublin. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel so welcome and even surprised us with an upgrade to a premium suite, which was a wonderful touch and really made our trip extra special.
The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained—attention to detail was clear everywhere. Every part of the hotel felt clean and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and eager to help.
Our stay was truly 10/10, and we would highly recommend the Croke Park Hotel to anyone visiting Dublin. We’ll definitely be returning!

The service was generally good, except for an issue we experienced with a staff member named Peter. Despite having a prepaid and pre-booked stay, we were threatened with cancellation because we requested to check in at 9:30 pm after receiving no response from the property. The automatic door was locked, there was no one at the check-in desk, and we had to ask another staff member to direct us to someone who could assist. Peter eventually came to help, stating he was doing so out of his busy schedule. I expressed that we would prefer to be checked in by the staff member assigned to that role, at which point he stated he would cancel our booking. When we asked on what grounds, he said he was the manager. It was an unusual and uncomfortable interaction, especially given that we were simply trying to check in to a stay we had already paid for.

Such a gem of a place! Great location, very close and walkable to points of attraction yet not too close that you can still get a quiet night’s rest. It was also close to the car rental location making it a great place to start the trip.
Arrived Dublin airport early in the morning after a 16hour flight, we initially thought of just dropping the luggage and just roam around while waiting to check in.
Was so tired so we tried our luck and called ahead and asked if we could do an early check in, so we could at least freshen up. Lo and behold, they made it happen as the room was ready for us when we reached the hotel.
Truly thankful! The simple gesture allowed us to enjoy more of Dublin in the time we had.
Great service also at breakfast with a good spread and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again! 👍🏼

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

TTài khoản kháchThe Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee).
What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating.
The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average.
The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff.

TTài khoản kháchThe hotel is beautiful and steeped in history. Breakfast was very nice and location is convenient for the airport. My only issue was we stayed in room 003 and in the morning about 4am delivery trucks starting driving back and forth down the side alley which actually woke us up as the window was open. One of the trucks even decided to back up down the alley with a constant beep beep beep which was really annoying. I'm not sure why he just didn't turn around but clearly he chose not to. The other small issue was the shower took forever to drain but this is an easy fix which the hotel said they would look after. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again.

GGayatri GallowayKnowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside.
As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea!
The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall.
Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality.
The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors.
It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas.
We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with.
