El Parador está situado en un enclave que permite ver toda Cardona. El castillo es bonito y de noche iluminado tiene mucho encanto. La habitación era correcta aunque no habia enchufes en las mesitas de noche y tuvimos que cargar los dispositivos electrónicos en el baño y en un enchufe cerca del suelo detrás de un sillón. La comida del restaurante del parador correcta.

At first, we were given a room on the first floor, which was very dark, with a view over the roof. The bathroom had a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals that could not be aired out, so we asked for a room change. We were then moved to the third floor, which was much better – brighter, with a view of the street, and generally fine. However, the cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. There was a lot of dust in less visible places, the bathroom floor was not properly cleaned, and both the shower and bathtub would benefit from a thorough cleaning and refresh. Overall, the hotel is pleasant, but cleanliness definitely needs improvement. Breakfasts were very tasty, although we missed having fresh vegetables.

MMellie CWe so thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sensation Sagrada Familia. The location was superb - metro, supermarkets, and places of interest were all within walking distance. The view of Sagrada Familia from our apartment was jaw-dropping. The fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy a home-cooked Christmas meal. Looking forward to staying here again!

KKimmyg43I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel” From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true... Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast) Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor. Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely. Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain... Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels... The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment. Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease) Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics) Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks) Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked) Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky? Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room) Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk) Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk? Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️ As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward) I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there? The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works? Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself. Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel. Now for the positives... The view from the room of the sea is beautiful It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced. The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.

TTravel-HolicThis was the finest of experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Even before our trip had begun, the holiday vibe had already started, 2 weeks prior to our flight. A member of hotel reception staff at the B&B in Sant Cugat, a beautiful soul, a lady by the name of Maria Faatemah had won us over with her swift responses to our queries and concerns. The more we responded, the more our mind and hearts were at ease. Always polite and courteous with so much manners and always ready to help us with whatever we presented her with. 2 weeks fast forward - We were welcomed with her sincere wholesome smile and she already knew who we were as soon as she saw is approaching the reception desk. This is someone who is connected with herself and showed is compassion from the get-go. She served us as though she was the leader and she didn't let us feel uncomfortable even though we didn't speak much Spanish. She showed us to our room and told us to feel free to ask her should we need anything. We had a slight situation with our air-condition unit and within 10 minutes she had that resolved by giving us an extra room until the maintenance man fixes the A/C. The second room was beautiful and I slept their for 2 days and it was a great experience. Faatemah called taxi's for us, ordered food for us, she translated Spanish to English and she even guided us towards the best tourist spots. It really felt like she had gone above and beyond, at no extra cost. Even the kids were saying they wanted to buy her something as a thank you present for her amazing service and beautiful mannerism. Faatemah was incredibly professional, compassionate and offered such a lovely service that we all fell in love with Spain (Barcelona) and would love to go back, just for experiencing this service again. Faatemah is much more than a lady behind the reception desk and I hope you all the best in the future and I hope you progress to become something bigger and better and that others are also receptive enough to appreciate you. Thank you Maria Faatemah for being such a wonderful host and your hospitality is so very appreciated. We all Look forward to visiting you real soon. Room is good size, with separated shower and toilet. Room attendant is very nice. We stayed 4 nights and may reserve it again if we’re going to Barcelona in the future. The only downside is the elevator is a bit smaller.

There were five staff behind the reception desk but it took a good five minutes maybe longer before anyone attended to us!! This did not feel like the best start but our check in was then done quickly and efficiently but not what I would call a warm welcome. Our room was on the sixth floor and was nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and apart from the half the tv channels everything worked fine. I was surprised there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room considering this is a four star hotel. The pool area was also a little disappointing.

TTài khoản kháchGood location, walking distance to Passeig de Gracia, near bus lines to bring you to the tourist sites within Bcn.  Room size, bed, amenities are all well maintained..  Customer service/front desk were helpful but some employees need some improvement.  Always remember that their guests are mostly tourists,  asking the same questions..  I felt frustrations sometimes when they answered to some of questions/inquiries..  Overall, I will stay again in this hotel and can recommend it too..  Should I lower my expectations next time??

AA.BuessAmazing hotel, less people, not crowded beaches. If you’re searching for food there are plenty of restaurants which you can try different variations of food. The hotel is clean, rooms are big with a balcony where you can drink your coffee or tea. At the evening admirer sunset. What we didn’t like that they didn’t make a refill of coffee and tea, we should have asked the staff. But the rest was fine.

From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. The check-in was a breeze, and we were whisked away to our room, which was an absolute dream. The decor is modern and sleek, but the big, fluffy beds and the incredible natural light made it feel cozy and welcoming. I'm pretty sure I could have spent my entire trip just lounging on that bed and gazing out the window! But then we discovered the rooftop pool... and the game was officially changed! Holy wow. The views are breathtaking, and it's the perfect spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere is so relaxed and happy; it's like a little slice of paradise right in the city. And the poolside bar staff? Absolute legends! They were so friendly and made the most delicious drinks. Even the hotel's location, which might seem a little outside the city center, is a huge plus! It's so peaceful and quiet at night, and we loved the feeling of escaping the hustle and bustle after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the public transport connections are super easy, so getting to the main attractions was never a problem. We actually enjoyed the short ride, as it gave us a chance to see more of the city! The food at the hotel was also fantastic. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet in the morning was a feast! So many options, all so fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. Overall, our stay at Hotel SB BCN Events was an absolute joy. It’s a place that manages to be stylish and sophisticated, yet still feel incredibly friendly and fun. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next trip back.
