Join Gerard Winter-Hughes for a captivating zinemaking workshop on the theme of 'Our Stories' at the Undercroft Meeting & Learning Centre in Worcester. This workshop is part of the History in the Making project, a year-long celebration of Worcestershire's rich heritage and the voices of underrepresented communities. The project, generously funded by Arts Council England with additional support from Worcester City Council, offers a range of creative activities that culminate in a published anthology, joint visual arts and poetry exhibitions, and a poetry map of Worcester's key community spaces. 

Drawing inspiration from the collections in Worcestershire Archives and Worcester Cathedral's Library, facilitators Oliver Bliss, Gerard Winter-Hughes, and Holly Winter-Hughes will guide participants through a series of workshops using creative prompts to foster artistic expression and thoughtful discussions. This is also an opportunity to reflect on your personal stories of Worcester and your unique relationship with the city. 

The event takes place on February 10, 2024, and admission is free. The Undercroft Meeting & Learning Centre, Worcester Cathedral, Worcester Archive & Archaeology Service at The Hive, and Sugar Daddy's Café are the collaborating venues that hold special significance in the city's history, enriching the creative work produced during this community-focused project.
