Join us at the Music Academy of the West for an evening filled with inspiration, creativity, and the story behind Kelly and Claire's brand new book, Marianne the Maker. Kelly says: We are hooked on making and have come to believe that making is an irreplaceable part of every life — not only as a driving factor in individual well being (it always works for us) but also for societal progress. Thanks to widely celebrated, peer-reviewed research in neuroscience, we also know that making is key to brain health — and who doesn’t want more of that? About the authors: Kelly is a New York Times bestselling author of four books about family life, the host of her own PBS show and a podcast called Kelly Corrigan Wonders. Claire is in her last year at The University of Virginia where she is an Echols scholar and probably the school’s only double major in Computer Science and Drama.
