SIP & SHARE - A speakeasy evening of poetry and spoken word on the Mornington Peninsula Join us for a 'speakeasy' evening of wine and spoken word performances at Rahona Valley on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Get ready to be mesmerised by talented poets and storytellers who will take you on a journey of emotions and imagination. Feature poet performance plus open mic performances available for sign up on the night. Date: Saturday, 2nd November Time: 6PM for 6.30PM performances Location: 3/ 48 Collins Road, Dromana, VIC 3936 Ticket fee: Pre-booked $15, includes drink on arrival. Tickets at the door on the night will be $20. Immerse yourself in the power of words as you sip on your favourite wine and share the experience with fellow story tellers and poetry enthusiasts. Our Feature poet is Alicia Sometimes. Alicia Sometimes is an Australian poet and broadcaster passionate about art and science. She has performed her poetry at many venues, festivals and events around the world. Her poems have been in Best Australian Science Writing, Best Australian Poems, Meanjin, Westerly and many more. Alicia is director/co-writer of the art/science planetarium shows, Elemental and Particle/Wave. In 2023 she received ANAT’s Synapse Artist Residency and co-created an art installation for Science Gallery Melbourne’s exhibition, Dark Matters. Her new book is Stellar Atmospheres.
