She has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed musicians such as Kevin Barrett, John Geggie, George Koller, Steve Boudreau, and David Restivo, each of whom has contributed to her growth as an artist. Gerri’s unique sound is shaped not only by the legendary jazz singers she admires—like Carmen McRae, Sheila Jordan, and Nancy Wilson—but also by the influences of blues and classic country music that filled her childhood home in Northwestern Ontario.
