Auditions for the role of Chip in the highly-anticipated 2024 production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert" will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at the prestigious Chandler Center for the Arts in Chandler, Arizona. Showtune Productions is thrilled to announce this exciting opportunity for young actors to join the cast of this magnificent show. 

The production will showcase a live on-stage orchestra, stunning costumes, captivating choreography, and mesmerizing animated scenic projections. It's an experience that promises to transport audiences into the enchanting world of Belle and the Beast. 

The selected actor must be available for rehearsals from January 2nd to 7th and March 11th to 21st, 2024, with performances scheduled for March 22nd and 23rd, 2024 at the Chandler Center for the Arts. As a paid role, it offers a wonderful opportunity for young talent to shine on stage. 

Auditionees are required to come prepared with a Beauty and the Beast song or provide music for 16 bars of an up-tempo song. An accompanist will be provided, so please bring sheet music in the actor's key. Additionally, a non-returnable headshot (or photo) and resume are required. If the child does not have a resume, a list of any music lessons or choir experience will suffice. 

The role of Chip is a hopeful young teacup and the son of Mrs. Potts. We encourage racial diversity, and the actor should be between the ages of 7 and 10 with a height below 50 inches (4'2). The vocal range required for this role is F5 to A3 (pre-voice change).
