The Balance Bike Course is a specially designed program for children aged 2.5-4 years old who are eager to take their first step towards learning how to ride a bike. This course consists of four 45-minute sessions, aimed at introducing children to the concept of balance bikes and helping them develop basic movement patterns, dynamic balance, and gross motor skills through engaging activities and games. The main objective of the course is to boost the child's confidence in gliding on a balance bike without using their feet. Throughout the sessions, riders will learn important skills such as mounting and dismounting the bike, maneuvering it, controlling the bike, and stopping safely. The course will take place on the following dates: Sunday 28th January, Sunday 4th February, Sunday 11th February, and Sunday 18th February, with each session being held outdoors at St Joseph's College in Ipswich. It is crucial for participants to attend all four sessions to fully benefit from the program. FAQs regarding bike type, appropriate clothing, helmet requirements, and refund policies are also provided. Balance bikes and helmets are available for borrowing if needed.
