The situated beside ”Spring” shopping mall so easy to find food and for window shopping. Breakfast was great with many options. Room condition need to refurbished since it's quite old.

I booked a Standard Hill View King on Chinese New Year Eve, The overall stay is a decent one, was provided with one King size bed and one single size bed, room was equipped with one mini fridge, one kettle and some cups, tissues, TV but the satellite line was bad as TV line appears unstable, small hair dryer, you can refer to photo I posted for amenities and room view, what I showed is all I got. Breakfast wasn't many choice but good enough, they have laksa, kolomee, salad, nasi lemak, bread

Ngày 1 thì tuyệt vời, nhưng Ngày 2 thì thiếu khăn tắm và không có đồ vệ sinh cá nhân. Ngày 3 thì tệ nhất — không có giấy vệ sinh hoặc khăn giấy, chỉ đủ dùng trong ngày. Phải liên tục yêu cầu những vật dụng cơ bản trong suốt thời gian lưu trú. Thủ tục trả phòng diễn ra suôn sẻ và nhanh chóng. Nhìn chung, dịch vụ và tiện nghi không đáp ứng được kỳ vọng của khách sạn 5 sao. Phản hồi bảo trì phòng là một điểm cộng, nhưng dịch vụ dọn phòng và dịch vụ khách hàng cần được cải thiện.

To best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts. You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas. The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room. The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them. I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

The children’s pool with slides requires better maintenance, as insects were present. Parking is located quite far from the main area; however, buggy services are available and helpful. All staff members were very friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay. The room was spacious. Although we did not receive a full sea view—only a partial one—the scenery was still stunning. The ambience of the resort is very refreshing, with high ceilings and a breezy environment that creates a relaxing atmosphere. There are many activities available, and the resort is within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Swimming is not very suitable due to strong tides, but the soft sand makes it ideal for children to play. There are two large pools: one specifically designed for children with slides, and another main pool where mini kayaks and floating flamingos are available for rent. The kids’ activity area is very creative, with games such as dam ular and various board games. The breakfast buffet offered a good range of choices, although I had a better dining experience during a previous visit for work purposes. Unfortunately, room service dining was not satisfactory—the fries were soggy, the fried rice was overly oily, and the carbonara was average. There was also some confusion regarding a 20% insider discount, as we were initially informed it was applicable, but later told that the discount was only valid at Horizon Café not in room service. They should explain better :( Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and with some improvements—particularly in maintenance and food quality—it could be an even better experience.

Roxy Sematan Villa & Townhouse – My true Experience Good: 1. The staff are attentive and proactive, following up with calls to confirm late check-ins or arrivals. 2. A wide variety of breakfast options is available. 3. The price is reasonable—around RM287.98 per night including tax for the Deluxe King Room during a regular weekend (non-public holiday); the room is spacious. 4. Free Wi-Fi is provided and easily accessible, with good connectivity. 5. Complimentary buggy service is available to transfer between the villa and the new building. 6. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient. 7. The environment is quiet at night. 8. Lift access is available, or guests can use the staircase. Areas for Improvement: 1. The bedsheets were not clean and had visible dirt and marks. 2. The flooring near the bathroom was damaged. 3. The adult swimming pool is often crowded with children playing rather than swimming, making it less relaxing for adults. 4. During weekends, food runs out quickly with no immediate top-up, waiting times for food and coffee are long, and there are insufficient tables for guests to sit comfortably. In short Summary Pros: attentive staff, smooth check-in/out, good Wi-Fi, spacious room, quiet at night, breakfast variety, buggy service, lift access. Cons: unclean bedsheets, damaged flooring, adult pool crowded, slow food service on weekends. Overall is still good hotel for stay and relax.
