This is my third stay, I had a free upgrade room to Deluxe room, that was really great. For the first two times, I was talking about feeling too cold after shower as cold air from the room will be going into the bathroom through the airventilated door. This time, the room is too warm, the temperature inside the bathroom after shower is just nice, but too warm to sleep at night, covering the quilt makes me too warm, without it would be too cold. Told the receptionist couple of times and they said maintenance had tried to turn it on to the max but the speed was still slow. However, I have a friend staying for the same night in different room, the fan speed of the air-conditioning in his room was really strong. I guess there's something wrong with the air-conditioning in my room. Other than that, everything's great.

The location is right in the city centre. The capsule is very nice, provide better privacy and security. Toilet and bathroom are integrated, with shampoo provided. Hair dryer, water dispenser, fridge are available. Lockers are available, but the lock don't work. Consequently, all are occupied by other guests who checked in earlier. The management need to control and carry out inspection. Moreover the AC in the common hall is faulty. Please improve on these two areas. The rest are good!

Definitely value for money. Good location with walking distance to Imago shopping mall, Filipino market and famous restaurants nearby. Nice sea view from the room. Cleanliness of the room also above expectation. Breakfast was average but acceptable.

The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring a hassle-free and comfortable stay. The unit is spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished, offering a cozy and relaxing ambiance. One of its biggest highlights is the stunning city and sea view. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Suria Sabah Shopping Mall and Jesselton Ferry Terminal, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and island-hopping. We recommend for this unit and for sure will come back here again 😊

Tôi đã có một kỳ nghỉ tuyệt vời nhất ở đây. Thủ tục nhận phòng nhanh chóng, họ đã nâng cấp phòng của tôi lên hướng biển, nhân viên rất thân thiện và nhiệt tình. Có một số hệ thống được nâng cấp với TV của họ, tuy nhiên, nó đã trở lại bình thường chỉ sau 15 phút! Tôi cảm thấy được nhân viên yêu thương và chăm sóc chu đáo. Bữa sáng rất tuyệt vời và đáp ứng được tiêu chuẩn của tôi. Chồng tôi đã chọn dịch vụ đỗ xe có người phục vụ và anh ấy rất hài lòng! Ngoài ra, tôi đi du lịch cùng con trai 3 tuổi và họ đã tặng đồ vệ sinh cá nhân miễn phí 🤩. Tôi rất hài lòng và chắc chắn sẽ quay lại và giới thiệu cho những người khác ở đây! xx

It's a little out of town but I chose it for the close proximity to the beach and swimming ,which is about a 10min walk from the hotel. There are street food and drinks stalls available from about 3pm . Tanjung Aru beach is beautiful, uncrowded and the beach shelves away gently making it a safe swimming area. However, the beach had rubbish washed up and maintenance isn't a priority I guess. I swam everyday and didn't get sick ,that's a bonus. The room ( the whole place)was tired looking, it could do with a lick of paint and maintenance. Room was clean when I got there but I strongly doubt it was cleaned in the entire time I was there for five days. Often had to ask for toilet paper , shampoo and shower gel , and coffee sachets etc ,basics to be stocked whenever housekeeping does their cleaning. Air con worked for me although the settings couldn't be altered ! The bed springs creak and you feel the springs when you sit on the bed but I slept ok only because I was usually exhausted from the day's activities . The beds and mattresses definitely need renewing though. The fridge was mouldy and smelly , what a blooming shame : / The safe was broken - hallelujah! I kept my room door locked at all times only because Reception staff hardly looked up to see who comes and goes- they sit very low,almost out of view at their front desk. I wasn't convinced about their perception of safety especially as I'm a solo female traveller and I need to be alert and take great caution. Casuarina Hotel are you taking note? Reception is helpful but that depends who is present. Lifts work fine without too much of a wait. The cafe on ground level serves an American breakfast but I couldn't tell you whether that's worth your while. It looked like Mary Celeste everytime I peeped in there so wasn't convinced about getting fed or a service. Therefore, I had fruit and snacks as standby .. There's a lovely restaurant a few yards from the hotel called the Yolo Seafood Restaurant which tends to open from 11.30am- delicious and inexpensive with friendly staff. Grab taxi fare to city centre varies from MYR 7- 25 Ringgit ,the higher tariff if returning during commuter rush hours from city centre which is a 15- 25 min ride . Would I stay here again ? I would actually knowing all its idiosyncrasis compared to so many awful or simplly mediocre accommodation charging an arm and a leg , I think Casuarina is just ok . Value for money? I don't think so .

Находится в 50 метрах от воды, чистый пляж. Постоянный шум моря. Ничего кроме номера и моря там нет, ни магазинов ни кафе. Нужно иметь машину чтоб ездить в соседний город. Хозяин очень доброжелательный и милый. Увы, Нам очень не повезло с соседями местные которые устроили вечеринку в соседнем номере из 6-7 человек и всю ночь распивали пиво и развлекались до 6 утра. Попытка их попросить не мешать спать привела к агрессии с их стороны. Мы не чувствовали себя в безопасности по этому уехали после первой же ночи. В целом отель отличный если вам повезет с соседями либо хозяин будет следить за теми, кого селит.

Thank you for providing an all-in-one environment for busy professionals like me. A place where I can work, meeting old friends, and at the same time allow my 3 boys to enjoy themselves safely. The availability of both a swimming pool and a small beach, with lifeguards on duty, gave me peace of mind throughout the day. the room was also clean and convinient for us also to enjoy beautiful morning sunrise. I was able to continue my work comfortably, spending time reading and writing on my laptop by the pool, surrounded by beautiful seaside scenery while watching my son playing. The experience was further enhanced by the availability of good food at the restaurant despite busy with customer, waitress e.g Ms Shamira and all were very helpful. Added with relaxing drinks in the evening while listening to live band performances, and quiet moments of healing by the beach, resting on the sofa with the sound of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, e.g Mr Alex and the team, who made our stay even more pleasant. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to come again.
