I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

很一般的酒店，比較老舊了，這個價位性價比不高。 因為孩子去比賽，所以訂了這個酒店。 停車不免費，20/晚。寬帶免費。 最大問題是隔音非常非常差。 當日入住的人挺多，走廊司上説鬧的，隔壁房間的男生似乎喝酒了，在捶牆。牆竟然也是普通木質結構的，動靜非常大，嚴重影響休息。 酒店沒有一次性拖鞋。 下次去肯定不會預訂。

Location is perfect heart of the city. Just walk by Yale University. Rooms are big and very clean. Bathroom is very clear and complete with all needed amenities. Front desk always very friendly and polite. It’s my second time living in Omni Hotel New Haven and will choose again for my next trip. For those who they love nightlife must live here because it’s just cross the road have best nightlife bars and clubs. Perfect Hotel I Recommend 100%

It’s a nice hotel to stay with near the school. Clean and neat with all necessities available. It is always my first choice !

First checking in, the gentleman was very friendly and kind. After getting settled in the room it was nice. However, you could hear everything going on in the hallway. Upon asking for more towels there were no bath towels left due to being short staffed. Additionally the cleaning staff were exceptionally loud in the morning and had woken me up.

This hotel is in immediate need of reinvestment. It was built in the 50's and it looks like in the rooms that was the last time any money was spent. You have a small in the window air conditioner unit. The two night stand lights did not work. The safe did not work. The hair dryer did not work but the front desk provided a new one. The bathroom sink was stained or dirty. To flush the toilet you have to stand there and hold the flipper down until the toilet completes flushing. The ironing board had been bent at some time in its history so it sloped down went set up. There was no elevator so you carry your belongings up an old metal outside staircase to the second floor. This hotel is in an excellent location and the exterior looks wonderful. But I would recommend that you stay elesewhere.

Stayed there several times and have always been satisfied with thier service. Only a few min to Foxwoods Casino and lots of other attractions.

Good property to stay at for our visit to Yale! Would re-book! Slightly old but nice big rooms and good service from the staff!

We were welcomed nicely with two amazing front desk representatives. Received clean and comfy room. It was day before Christmas, and we were told the timing for breakfast . Next morning we found out there no breakfast served at all! Because it’s Christmas!! It’s like you book the flight , but no flight attendants cuz they are on vocation 😀 All hotels guests were very confused, no one received any note about it, we were very disappointed because one of the reason we pay more for this hotel -is breakfast, since we were driving with kids. Don’t recommend this hotel .
