As my reason to stay was the proximity to the airport, the hotel exceeded my expectations as the room was small but comfy, they have a restaurant for dinner and breakfast attached to the hotel and in minutes I could get a taxi to the airport. Great value for money.

It was a good stay. I'm looking forward for future stays. It is comfortable. And clean and suitable for busy travelers and workers. The pods have blue lights for sleep in addition to the white light. Lockers have their own locks . very professional and friendly and respectable staff . The bar is beautiful and they have music nights and gigs sometimes. The location is great and is right next to everything. I was able to show up to work within 5 minutes of leaving. They serve food and drinks. Didn't see any public computers for use.
Overall exceeded my expectations

啊啊啊，一定要提前安排訂了啊，臨時真的好貴啊啊啊，環境還不錯的，一樓是公共區域，有廚房提供使用，咖啡可以自己弄，一樓有一個大件兒儲存室（免費但丟失不負責）和一個付費的類似快遞櫃一樣的儲存櫃。房間有獨立的衞浴，還行，浴巾可以租一塊一條，拖鞋沒看到，位置比較方便，去周邊景點和超市都可以。 前台很友好哦，哈哈哈

We stayed here on our last night of a two week Ireland vacation to be near the airport for an early flight. We arrived in the evening and no air conditioning in our room!!! No one told us at check-in and I do not recall seeing anything about no ac on the website when booking. I looked on the company website prior to booking in addition to Trip.com. I purposely looked at each of our accommodations for air conditioning. Staff told us they were updating the hotel and there was a sign in the elevator. Nope, no sign about air conditioning in the elevator. It was too late to find another hotel when we realized we would not have air. Of the two windows in our room, only one opened. We were lucky it was not too hot and left first thing in the morning to get out of there.
Some communication would have been nice or at least apologies.

The location of this hotel is good, with excellent restaurants within minutes of walking. The room is spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is a nice start to the day although if you are staying for more than 2-3 days, a change of menu and food options would be great. Overall, recommended!

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

TTài khoản kháchThe Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee).
What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating.
The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average.
The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff.

TTài khoản kháchThe hotel is beautiful and steeped in history. Breakfast was very nice and location is convenient for the airport. My only issue was we stayed in room 003 and in the morning about 4am delivery trucks starting driving back and forth down the side alley which actually woke us up as the window was open. One of the trucks even decided to back up down the alley with a constant beep beep beep which was really annoying. I'm not sure why he just didn't turn around but clearly he chose not to. The other small issue was the shower took forever to drain but this is an easy fix which the hotel said they would look after. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again.

GGayatri GallowayKnowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside.
As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea!
The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall.
Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality.
The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors.
It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas.
We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with.
