Flooding suspends services between Liskeard and Looe

    Thời Gian:Thứ 2, 29 tháng 12, 2025 đến Thứ 2, 5 tháng 1, 2026
    Hãng Khai Thác:Great Western Railway
Thông Tin Liên Quan:Flooding of the railway line between Liskeard and Looe means that all lines are closed. As a result of this, trains running between these stations will be cancelled. Disruption is expected until the end of the day on Monday 5 January. Please note there is no service today (Sunday 28 December) or on Sunday 4 January. Customer advice: Rail replacement transport (provided by A2B minibus) will depart Liskeard and Looe at the train times and will call at Sandplace, in both directions. Please wait for the minibus at the rail replacement bus stops. The replacement road transport may run later than the advertised train times as a result of the additional time taken by road between stations, and the time needed for loading and unloading at each stop. If you are travelling from Coombe Junction Halt, St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland, please use the customer help point or contact National Rail Enquiries on 03457 484 950 detailing the total number of passengers in your party and your intended destination. You may use your ticket, at no extra cost, on Go Cornwall Bus route 73 between Liskeard (bus stops on the main road adjacent to the station entrance), St Keyne (community centre), Sandplace (station) and Looe (bus stops on main road opposite the station). Additional information: Great Western Railway are working with Network Rail to be able to re-open the line. The water levels have dropped and Network Rail now need to inspect the bridges to ensure that the flooding has not caused any damage to the structures. As parts of the bridges below the water level need to be inspected, specialist divers are required. However, there are no divers available until 4 January 2026. Check before you travel: You can check your journey today and up to and including Friday 2 January using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner. For journeys from Saturday 3 to Monday 5 January please check back at a later date. For helpful advice if you need to travel on a rail replacement service, including accessibility and bicycle information, please use our Rail Replacement Services page. You can find the pick-up and set-down location of rail replacement services by checking station signage or by searching for your station on our Find a Station page. Please be advised that replacement vehicles may be busier than usual, and you should allow extra time for your journey.
