The best place to shop if you're looking for moderate prices and options! This street has everything from shoes, men's, make-up, women's fashion, a few designer stores and fast-food places to eat as well as French restaurants. Stores like Zara, Sephora, H&M, Mango, Jennyfer and Minelli's to name a few. The street stores stretch from the Louvre Museum to the beginning of Le Marais (at St. Paul metro station). I recommend paying this area a visit since it's centrally located in the first arrondissment and it's near the many of the frequently visited Parisian neighborhoods. The best way to get here is Metro exit Chatelet.

Rue de Rivoli might be one of the prettiest streets in the world, or at least, one of my favourites. You'll pass by the Louvre, the Tuilleries, Place de la Concorde, designer shops, lovely bookstores, Angelina Tea Room (stop for some hot chocolate, please!), somewhat tacky gift shops, while admiring the architecture that screams "PARIS" all the way through. If you want to see the Paris that is shown in the movies, only the Eiffel Tower beats Rue de Rivoli.

The Rue de Rivoli is one of the most prominent commercial streets in Paris that runs parallel to Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre museum. The street is known for shops which carry the most fashionable name brands in the world. The ‘Rue de Rivoli’ name is connected to Napoleon’s 18th-century victory over the Austrian army in the battle of Rivoli.
