PortAdventure Theme Park, Salou
Highlights - Shambhala
Rating 5/5
We spent the day at the theme park, a group of 5 adults and our baby. We over all had a good day, there was so much to do that we could not visit everything.
I would recommend coming here, though if possible I would say 2 or 3 days ia best to get the full experience. We missed out on all of the shows and most of the rides, purely because the park is so large you simply can not get around to everything in a day.
The rides we went on where good, the best being the Shambhala. As someone who has visited many theme parks and been on many rides, I can say with certainty that the Shambhala is one of the best rides I have been on to date.
Alongside the rides, there are many shops, shows and areas to relax, with picturesque waterfalls and features throughout. #portadventura #spaintravel #spain

BeckyyRSee and Taste Around Barcelona
Barcelona has it all, so it is no wonder it is one of the top destinations in Europe. Strolling along the streets, you can find jaw-dropping architectural wonders by Gaudi, ruins and vestiges of the ancient Roman Empire, historical museums, mouth-watering tapas, and markets to suit your needs. I signed up for historical walking tours and a foodie tour to learn and eat my way around Barcelona and met other travelers who gave great recommendations and reviews of places they visited around the city. With so much to offer, Barcelona cannot disappoint!

poohwubearGaudi’s Park Guell
Park Guell is a large park outside of Barcelona displaying a wide array of Antoni Gaudi’s work. I never found much appeal when seeing Gaudi’s art pieces and buildings in photographs, but only after seeing the works in their original and intended settings did I understand you must “experience” Gaudi’s works to appreciate them. Park Guell was an inspirational place to walk around and admire the beautiful mosiacs, buildings, and structures. It is a bit far from Barcelona city centre, but a few different bus lines can get you there, and the trip is well worth it!

poohwubearMarvel at Sagrada Familia
When people mention Barcelona, they may immediately think of Sagrada Familia, the largest unfinished Catholic Church and Gaudi’s most famous work. Pictures simply cannot do it justice - when seeing the church from the outside, you may first be struck by its enormous size, then as you get closer, you will be awestruck by the intricately detailed artistry, and once inside you will marvel at the colors and otherworldly structures. The artwork and design is absolutely stunning and will stir up admiration and emotion. The building is packed with tourists, so make sure to reserve your tickets online, but it is absolutely worth seeing and experiencing!

poohwubearSkiing in Spain
The skiing season comes to an end so we decided to enjoy a last rest of the snow in Spain by going to La Molina Ski resort. La Molina is a ski resort in the Pyrenees mountains of northeastern Spain. It has everything we can dream of. Suitable to all levels everyone will be happy there .
Accommodation, food and all other ski amenities are appreciably cheaper here than at most resorts in the Alps. Add in delicious Spanish Pyrenean food, very good value
wine and a lively feel at the main resort bases after the lifts close and not only can you have an enjoyable time here, but it won't break the bank either

Denis TheChampenoisSunset in Madrid
The best place to see sunset in Madrid is The temple of Debd and Royal palace Madrid
Long before Madrid became the capital of Spain, Emir Mohamed I chose Magerit (the city's Arabic name) as the site for a fortress to protect Toledo from the advancing Christians. The building was eventually used by the Kings of Castille until finally becoming what would be known as the Antiguo Alcázar (Old Fortress) in the 14th century. Charles I and his son Philip II turned the building into a permanent residence for the Spanish royal family. However, in 1734 a fire burnt the Palace of Los Austrias to the ground, and Philip V ordered the construction of the palace that stands today.

LinhlinhngongoSitges Great for Food, Hills and Relaxation
When visiting the Catalonia province of Spain I would recommend taking 2/3 days in Sitges, the area is full of food options and hiking routes that allow you to explore the Spanish Hills an underrated aspect of Spain.
Sitges is located under an hour’s drive from Barcelona and has easily accessible public transport options to Barcelona. When visiting Sitges I would recommend taking a trip to both the hills and beaches so you can get a view of what Sitges looks like from both perspective.
Sitges is often not talked about when discussing Spain however I would recommend going for the sandy beaches and affordable prices.

Asia&TheWorldThe most beautiful park in Madrid
The El Retiro park is a must visit in Madrid. It is centrally located so it's an easy walk from anywhere in the city! it recently gained UNESCO world heritage status for its history.
In the middle of El Retiro is a huge lake that is popular with young families and couples. The park is also conveniently situated next to the Prado museum so you can visit both sites in one go!

Geo (@geosheng)The center of Madrid, Plaza Mayor
Plaza Mayor is often regarded as the center of Madrid, and it is easy to see why! Its stunning architecture is a key reason to visit, and is popular with young families keen to soak up the atmosphere and local cafés.
The square dates back to 1619, meaning it has over four centuries of history! Just beyond the western side is the Mercato San Miguel, a popular food market for locals.

Geo (@geosheng)The main shopping street in Madrid
Gran Via is regarded as the main commercial street in Madrid. It contains many shopping stores, including the flagship store for Zara and Primark. It is a convenient place to shop since many stores are located nearby to one another.
After retail therapy, you may consider a local café that sells coffee, hot chocolate and churros!

Geo (@geosheng)Madrid's most iconic train station ⭐️🚝
I'm travelling around Spain by train (one of the best ways to) and I'd heard a lot about the beautiful Madrid Atocha Railway Station (Estación Madrid de Atocha). In person, it really is breathtaking! One of the most beautiful train stations I've ever been in.
Atocha is the largest station in Spain that serves the most kinds of trains: commuter, intercity, regional, and the AVE high speed. What's iconic and unusual is that the atmosphere, architecture, and decoration in the old plaza (see pictures) don't make the place feel like a train station! It is also very cooling, thanks to the amount of greenery and plants in the plaza. If you're not departing/arriving here, I still recommend visiting the Atocha station when in Madrid!
There is also lots of history to this station: the current building was built in 1892, and even houses a memorial outside for the victims of the 2004 Madrid train bombings.
This is the perfect place for lovers of history, architecture, plants, and trains! So beautiful and iconic.

H MatthiasPark Güell, Barcelona Summary
Getting There - Requires walking up a steep hill or alternatively taking the bus. The nearest metros are both a 15 min walk away and the walk is mostly up hill.
Description - The park is very beautiful and the views of the city are stunning. It is the most efficient and cheapest way to take in Gaudí architecture in the city of Barcelona. Other Gaudí experiences are quite expensive to enter. This park has many Gaudí designed buildings to explore so it's certainly more value for money than any other attraction in the city. The best times to visit are on sunny days, either in the morning or afternoon when it's a bit cooler since you'll be doing a lot of walking uphill however it's important to note that the area directly around the park isn't the best for getting food/drink afterwards so plan to travel somewhere else once you're done. I would estimate that 2hrs is enough time to see the park, some photo opportunities are more crowded than others so expect to queue for the best shots, especially if there are tour groups at the time you're visiting.

Location: Seville city, Spain.
Getting there: Fly from most major European cities or take the train from Madrid or Malaga.
Name: Plaza de Espana is the most famous landmark in Seville and definitely the most photogenic. Built in 1928, this architecture masterpiece is worth visiting. Surrounding the plaza are fountains, bridges and classic pillars to admire.
I recommend spending a few hours here. It's free of charge and you can really take your time to enjoy the intricacies of the design.

Seville hosts the world’s largest wooden structure: Metropol Parasol, also known as Las Setas. It's an amazing piece of modern architecture in the center of the city.
I recommend paying the small entry fee to climb the stairs to the top. From the top you can look closely at the design and get panoramic views of Seville city.

LH RiyanThe Sagrada Familia cannot be missed!
The biggest landmark in Barcelona is undoubtedly the Sagrada Familia. It was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudi, and remains unfinished to this day! It started in 1883 and remains a construction site today.
The interior features beautiful stain glassed windows that allow for an unparalleled atmosphere. The roof of the nave has amazing details while the columns were made to resemble branches and trees.

TheAngaritasExperience the Magic of the Rock of Gibraltar
The Rock of Gibraltar is a truly iconic destination, and is a must-see for any visitor to the region. The rock itself is a limestone promontory that rises over 400 meters above the surrounding area, and has been a strategic military location for centuries.
One of the most popular attractions at the Rock of Gibraltar is the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including over 300 species of plants and over 200 species of birds. The nature reserve can be explored on foot or by taking a guided tour, and there are several viewpoints along the way where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Another must-see attraction at the Rock of Gibraltar is the Gibraltar Cable Car, which takes visitors up to the top of the rock where they can visit the famous Gibraltar Apes. These monkeys, which are actually Barbary macaques, are the only wild monkeys in Europe and are a popular attraction for visitors to the rock.
In addition to the natural beauty and wildlife, the Rock of Gibraltar also has a rich history and cultural significance. The city of Gibraltar has been ruled by a number of different powers over the centuries, including the Moors, the Spanish, and the British, and this history is evident in the architecture and cultural influences that can be seen throughout the city.
Overall, the Rock of Gibraltar is a truly unique and memorable destination that should not be missed on a visit to the region. Whether you're looking to explore the stunning natural beauty of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, visit the famous Gibraltar Apes, or learn about the rich history and culture of the city, the Rock of Gibraltar has something for everyone.

Sagrada Familia was the most astonishing chapels I’ve been to in the world. Stepping into the church was a feast for your eyes - the church was intricately designed in Gaudi’s distinct style. I paid 26Euros for the entry ticket that comes with an audio tour.

Ms LauuuuuA thrilling experience @ Parque Warner!
#celebratewithtrip
What an experience at Parque Warner during my most recent visit to Madrid, Spain! As a huge theme park lover, I knew I had to visit this theme park and try out the rides. This park is dedicated to movies from Warner Bros studios, so expect lots of fun and familiar ride themes.
There are 5 themed areas, each with its own unique charm and exciting rides. They are: DC Super Heroes (personal fave!), Movie World, Cartoon Village, Old West Territory, Hollywood Boulevard. All these areas have child friendly rides. If you don't mind not staying dry, check out the Parque Warner Beach, which is essentially a water park itself!
Getting there: If you don't drive, train/bus would be the best option. I took the C-3 line and alighted at Pinto, then boarded bus service 413 right to the park's entrance.
Address: San Martín de la Vega Autovia A-4, Exit 22, 28330 San Martin de la Vega Spain
Starting from €29.90 for online tickets (almost twice the price if you purchase tickets upon arrival).
Must visit when in Madrid! Get your tickets earlier and online, and try as many rides as you can! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
