Beautiful Hohensalzburg Castle in Austria
Salzburg fortress or Hohensalzburg castle is a stunning historic castle, high above the baroque towers of the city and not too far from the Central parks and avenues, it's really worth a visit.
🚌 Hohensalzburg Castle is at the top of the Festungsberg, 200m above the city’s old town. It is a 15-minute walk from the center or a one-minute ride up in a glass funicular, that starts from 'Festungsgasse'.

The area is crossed by the large river Elbe and locates around 30 km north of the city of Dresden, the capital of Saxony. 75% of the area are on the German side, another part is in the Czech republic.
🥾⛰️ Most people go there for hiking and booking a nice guesthouse. You can hike the whole day and won't get bored. There is no entrance ticket.
🏨 If you don't want to stay in a countryside guesthouse, you can also sleep in Dresden!

Autumn-Trip to Königssee in Bavaria
Königssee (in English Kings-Lake) is probably one of the nicest places in Germany and Bavaria. It's in the very south of Bavaria, in the German Alps. Lake Königssee is part of the Berchtesgaden National Park and a perfect hike with your friends or family. 🏞️
📍The easiest way to visit Königssee is by car and parking (for a fee) is available. Königssee is located within Berchtesgaden National Park and is located about 2 hours from the Munich Airport and 30 minutes from the Salzburg airport. If you don’t have a car, there are buses running from Berchtesgaden and Salzburg.

The Biggest Park in Germany's Bremen
The biggest and most popular public park in the northern city of Germany is the Bürgerpark Bremen. In English it means People's Park.
The park has huge alleys, gardens, rivers, small lakes and a small animal farm for kids and families. In the warm month, you can eat Italian ice cream. In autumn, the leaves turn golden and even in winter it's worth a trip.
I recommend to stay one to three hours, depending on the activities you choose to do.
📍 Location: Bürgerpark, 28209 Bremen
🕛 Bürgerpark Bremen is open 24 hours a day and it's a public park, so it's free.

Morteratsch Glacier in Switzerland
Last October I went to Morteratsch Glacier in Switzerland, close to Pontresina and St. Moritz.
The Morteratsch glacier is a small, retrieving glacier at the end of a small valley along the bernina pass road. During the last ice-age, it was much bigger.
🥾⛰️🚶You can either walk from Diavolezza cable car Station or to Boval cottage from Moteratsch town. We did the second and the view on the glacier is brilliant.
🍂 Best season: May-October
🎟️ Hiking is free, but you have to pay for food & drinks in the Boval cottage, if you don't bring your own snacks.
