The most spectacular monument in Europe
Plaza de España, Sevilla
1.
Address - Av. Isabel la Católica, 41004 Seville, Spain
Highlights - Flamenco dancers, canal, architecture
Rating - 5/5
The Plaza de España was inaugurated in 1929 as a space for the Ibero-American Exposition of the same year.
Now it’s a spectacle of light and majesty, framed in the Maria Luisa Park.
While the locals mainly visit the park to relax, jog or walk the dog, Plaza de España is mainly visited by tourists (domestic and foreign).
It has become a frequent «ritual» for national visitors to be photographed in front of the space dedicated to their province of Spain with the beautiful decorated tiles.
Under the arches you can usually find local artists, especially Flamenco dancers and singers, typical Sevilla.
And if you’re feeling romantic, you can row a boat in the canal. Bear in mind, it is quite an effort.
TripAdvisor users have rated it as the most spectacular monument in Europe and the second most spectacular in the world.

Palace of Versailles
A first time trip to Paris requires a visit to the Palace of Versailles to learn how French royalty once indulged. There are frequent trains from Paris to Versailles, and then there is a short trek to the palace grounds (recommend to purchase all tickets online). Inside the palace are amazing displays of gold and artwork, showcasing the opulence and wealth of the former French empire. There are also garden tours, which I regrettably didn’t have enough time to explore, so I must leave that on my list of must dos for my next visit to Versailles!

Old European Style Area in Haikou, Hainan
Qilou Old Street is a surreal little area in the middle of Haikou, Hainan. For brief moments it really does feel like you are walking down the streets of a traditional Portuguese town.
There were some cute little cafes and boutique shops to wander around, ideal if you want to spend an afternoon there just taking it easy and drinking coffee.
Best way to get there is probably a didi. The location is relatively central so wont cost much from wherever you are in the city.
Enjoy 😊

THE FAMOUS SPANISH STEPS
The steps that connect Rome's Piazza di Spagna with the French monastic church Trinita dei Monti are known as the "Spanish steps," and they were constructed between 1723 and 1726 in the Rococo architectural style (built between 1502–1587). There are three distinct terraces and 135 stairs, alluding to the Holy Trinity (the Trinità). Even though it is shared with crowds of other tourists, the view from the top of the stairs near the Egyptian obelisk is stunning. The name can be a little misleading because the French actually ordered the steps' construction (Louis XII). The Spanish Steps got their name because in the 17th century, the Spanish embassy was situated at the bottom of the stairs, in the area known as "Piazza di Spagna." Spanish steps is consequently not the official name but Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti.
The "Fontana della Barcaccia" fountain, designed by Pietro Bernini, the renowned Gian Lorenzo Bernini's father, is also located on this Piazza di Spagna. This phrase is translated as "Fountain of the Ugly Boat." This is not a reference to the sculpture's appearance; rather, it refers to the legend that the small, unsightly boat was left here after the Tiber flooded in 1598. Bernini was inspired by that.#tripblazers #romeitaly #italytravel #europeanarchitecture
Beautiful Hohensalzburg Castle in Austria
Salzburg fortress or Hohensalzburg castle is a stunning historic castle, high above the baroque towers of the city and not too far from the Central parks and avenues, it's really worth a visit.
🚌 Hohensalzburg Castle is at the top of the Festungsberg, 200m above the city’s old town. It is a 15-minute walk from the center or a one-minute ride up in a glass funicular, that starts from 'Festungsgasse'.
🎫 A basic Ticket is 12,90€ currently, discounts for kids available. 🕛 I think a two hours visit is enough to learn about basic history and take some nice pictures.

In the heart of the Dubrovnik Old Town! 💜💜
The old town in Dubrovnik is where Game of Thrones was shot and now I understand why. It has medieval architecture which is so enchanting and I could walk around Old Town all day. Even the pictures don't quite do it justice. Then you are surrounded by the Adriatic Sea with endless boats, ships, and yachts all around you.
I wasn't expecting Dubrovnik to be as expensive as it is but it's still incredible to be here. Yesterday, we took a day boat trip around three islands and it was genuinely one of the best experiences I've ever had.❤️

Atomium in Belgium's Brussels
The Atomium is an iconic building in Brussels, I visited recently. You probably saw it on pictures before.
It was originally constructed for the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair. The twelve tubes are 3 meters in diameter and enclose escalators, stairs, and the tube in the center has an elevator.
🛗 and 🎟️: To take this elevator you have to pay a fee of 16€ (Students 8,50€). The 'outside' visit is for free. If you just want to see the impressive building, you don't have to get inside. If you want to enjoy the view, better pay for the ticket.

THE ARCH OF TRIUMPH 💪🏻
Constantine's Arch, 312–315 A.D.
Constantine, often known as Constantine the Great, was important for a number of reasons. These include his support for Christianity, his role in changing Roman Empire politics, and his establishment of Constantinople (modern day Istanbul). In the fields of art and architecture, Constantine was regarded as a change-agent. In addition to being an excellent illustration of the ideological and stylistic changes Constantine's reign brought to art, Rome's Triumphal Arch of Constantine also shows the emperor's scrupulous devotion to classic styles of Roman Imperial art and building.

LA VITA È BELLA 💕☺️
Rome, often known as the Eternal City, is one of the most traveled cities in the world. As a result, traveling there could be logistically challenging. Here are some pointers on how to make the most of your stay in Rome, such as how to skip lines, cut costs, and locate the greatest cuisine.
1. Give Rome at least three days.
Rome is a great place to visit, especially for first-timers. Spend at least three days in the Eternal City to take in all the breathtaking scenery and delectable cuisine. If you stay for a shorter amount of time, you might find yourself hurrying from site to site without enough time to really appreciate all the stunning old structures and sites.
2. Purchase entrance tickets for Rome's top attractions in advance.
Even in the winter, there are a lot of tourists in Rome (the low season). Therefore, it's crucial to order entrance tickets for well-known sites before showing up in person.
The Vatican Museums and the Colosseum are two of the most popular tourist destinations on earth. If you want to reserve a seat, make sure to go to their individual websites because doing so will prevent you from having to wait for a very long time. This is particularly painful during the sweltering heat.
3. Use the Roma Pass to save money.
A 48- or 72-hour Roma Pass will get you free admission to a specific number of museums or archaeological sites. For instance, the 72-hour pass entitles you to two complimentary museum skip-the-line entrances (or ancient sites like the Colosseum). Additionally, it offers you cheaper admission rates to all additional museums you visit after this one! If you want to stay longer, you may also get a 7-day pass that includes extra attractions.

🙏🏼⛪️ CATHOLIC CHURCH’s HOLIEST PLACE ⛪️🙏🏼
The Vatican City's St. Peter's Basilica is regarded as one of the Catholic Church's holiest sites and a significant destination for pilgrims.
One of the biggest cathedrals in the world and one of Christendom's holiest temples is St. Peter's Basilica. Additionally, the Pope conducts numerous liturgies there year-round.
After the old basilica was destroyed, work on the new basilica started in 1506, and it was completed in 1626. The day of its dedication was November 18, 1626. The temple was created by a number of well-known architects, with a focus on the works of Bramante, Michelangelo, and Carlo Maderno.
The basilica was given the name St. Peter's in honor of Saint Peter, one of Jesus' twelve followers and a founding member of the Catholic Church.

❗️It’s a big beautiful shopping mall with many restaurants (I am foodie and that’s the first thing I look for before traveling 😁) and many shops. There are also some small tables outside to buy mostly handmade things.
I went for a walk and taking photos. The place wasn’t crowded but maybe because it’s far from downtown and everything in general 🤭.
💴 I only spent around 20RMB on transportation and 100RMB for food and ice cream.

THE FLOATING CITY ✈️🇮🇹🛶🚤🛟
If you're a young traveler exploring Europe, Venice is a must-see. It's an oasis of glistening canals surrounded by magnificent palaces. A transcendent experience is just getting lost in the streets; you'll be submerged in passageways next to grand canals and smell the fresh sea air. It's simply fantastic.
Venice is one of the most fascinating and genuinely beautiful towns in the world, appearing to be floating on water. The entire city, which boasts elegant bridges, quaint lanes, and fantastic shopping, is included as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This, together with attractions like Piazza San Marco, home to St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, a bustling boardwalk, Venetian glassblowing, and, of course, gondola rides, make it clear that to skip this city would be unfair.
