Ice sculptures at Zhongshan Park, Harbin

Harbin is a famous winter destination. There are many places to see snow and ice sculptures. My favorite place to see them is at Zhongshan Park. This is a small park located just a block away from Central Street. Unlike many of the other places, entry is free of charge. During the winter the park is full of ice sculptures and maybe one or two snow sculptures too. Some of the ice sculptures are really beautiful and tfill of details. They are at their most beautiful in the evening when they are all lit up. I suggest you go a little before sunset so you can see the sculptures in daylight as well as in the dark. Besides admiring the ice sculptures you can also go ice skating in the little pond or you can go to the ice maze. In the middle of the maze there is a slide made of ice that you can go down of.
