A Calm and Peaceful Hike In Hangzhou

The Running Tiger Spring (Hupao Spring) is ranked third in China. It is a truly peaceful park that allows an escape from the busy streets and transports you to an exquisite nature paradise. We spent about 90 minutes hiking to the top of the park and passed some beautiful statues along the way. Many of the name plates are in both Chinese and English. They explain the history of the spring and why the water that comes from it has gained high praises. Once you reach the top of the hike, you can enjoy a cup of Longjing Tea made from the spring water or take a closer look at the stunning, classical architecture that surrounds the area and blends so well into the serene atmosphere of the park.
