New York Lamp and Flower Museum 🇯🇵
The New York Lamp Museum is home to around 70 stained glass made from jewels created around 120 years ago. It is the only place you will get to see the precious engraving and signature of Tiffany Studios New York. It was raining when we visited, I didn't take photos of the flower garden. There is also a cafe in the area. 🌟Location Along the view area on the coasts of Jogasaki beach 🌟Getting there 9 minutes by Tokai Bus from Izu Kogen Station (served by the Izu Kyūkō Line), or approximately 7 minutes by taxi. On-site parking is available for up to 300 vehicles. There are character meet and greet at specific spot in the park where you can meet friends from Seseme Street, Despicable Me, Madagascar, Shreks and even Kung Fu Panda. Other than attraction, the building and structure around different zone is a popular photo hotspot. Specifically in the New York zone immediately after Hollywood, you will find many 3 to 4 storey tall building from the old New York. You can also loom into the back Alley of the street to take photo and recreate your favourite scene from a movie. The store front as well as road also have replicate of vegetable, produce and goods to make it resemble the real deal from the past. #themepark

Arguably one of the all-time best places for coffee in Brooklyn, Sweatshop Coffee is an Aussie espresso bar & cafe. So yes, it’s basically mandatory that you order a flat white. The Oculus, New York
When you visit the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero, you’ll probably notice a large white building with steel, wing-shaped tips reaching toward the sky. That’s the Oculus, a transportation hub and shopping mall built alongside the One World Trade Center. The building is one of many that were included in the city’s plan to rebuild the World Trade Center after September 11. If you’d like to see this magnificent structure up-close, you can. In this post, I’ll share a little about the history of the Oculus, including its design, Ground Zero connection, and how to visit when you’re here in New York. The Oculus was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. He intended it to resemble a dove leaving a child’s hands. You can see it in the tall, crossed steel columns that make up the exterior. New York Aquarium 🦭✨
Great place to bring kids who are enthusiastic about marine life. The new interactive shark exhibit is an excellent representation of actual live sharks in a simulation oceanic environment. 🥰 Periodically, various shows are held with the participation of dolphins, seals, walruses, penguins and others. They have themed weeks dedicated to individual species. It's nice to see that the staff really cares about their wards. We enjoyed a sea lion show. There were lots of educational materials easily displayed next to each exhibit and plenty of creatures to see. Have you visited Odaiba in Tokyo before? I have not until recently. There's so much to see and do in Odaiba - I visited the statue of liberty, Gundam statue and Odaiba Diver City while in Tokyo. Odaiba Diver City Tokyo is a large shopping complex located on a man-made island in Tokyo, Japan. It’s a popular destination for both tourists and locals, offering a diverse mix of Japanese and international shops. The mall is known for its welcoming atmosphere, with language assistance services and discounts for foreign visitors. It’s also home to the iconic life-sized Gundam statue, which is a must-see for fans of the franchise. The mall’s location in Odaiba makes it a part of an entertainment hotspot that includes a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades, and more. Soft-boiled egg Uhu mayonnaise (¥ 500) Italian aged prosciutto ham copper (¥ 500) Grilled salted pork ribs with herbs and bread crumbs (¥ 1800) Rich chocolate terrine (¥ 550) -------------------------------------------------- ----- A fashionable izakaya popular with girls in Shimokitazawa 🍷 The store is small and popular enough to be fully booked ✨ Italian aged prosciutto (coppa 🇮🇹) is salty and goes well with pickles 🥒. The soft-boiled egg mayonnaise seems to be the most popular, and most people ate it. Ufumayo seems to be a boiled egg over mayo. I didn't know that smoked sardines and eggs would go together 😳 Herb bread crumbs are thick and have a very nice aroma 🌿 It has a lot of fat, but it has ratatouille underneath so you can eat it without getting tired 🥰 Chocolate terrine is sticky and rich, but it is sprinkled with rock salt so you can eat it refreshingly! This saltiness is exquisite 🧂 There are many other dishes, and all of them are wonderful menus, so I would love to come back again ✨ (I still didn't understand the deliciousness of wine ... 😭) The atmosphere is good and the staff are kind, so I really recommend this shop! It is a sister store of Planet of Curry 🪐 ------------------------------------------
