What a berry perfect staycation! I am here at Le Méridien Chiang Mai and this is their deluxe king room. A renovated hotel within Chiang Mai night bazaar and right opposite Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai. Let’s say if these 2 hotels are about similar pricing, I will choose Le Meridien because it is renovated. Their breakfast has more variety too and I even had beetroot toast bread. During my stay, their gym was still having renovation so a temporary gym was set up in their ballroom. Getting There - Take a flight to Chiang Mai from many cities in Southeast Asia Attractions - Loy Krathong Festival (dropping lanterns on the water) is the most important festival in Thailand and is held all over the country. Chiang Mai is one of the best places to experience this impressive festival. The Service 1921 Restaurant in Chiang Mai

The Service 1921 Restaurant located inside Anantara Resort and SPA Chiang Mai. This restaurant is very famous for Thailand northern dishes. The restaurant was mentioned in Micheline Guide as the best service of 2020. But unfortunately I can not see this best service. The staff was so busy with just one client and didn’t pay attention at others. Food was also so so. Dishes are very small and not worth the price. #foodie

#createwithtrip - Love at a first sight 💕 For those of you who don’t know, I actually love elephants a lot and I have a grey colour sleeping dress w an elephant on it since 2015 that I still wear till date 😂 Being able to see these enormous gentle giants in real life felt super surreal esp when this trip was only decided last minute. The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary hiangmai is only reopened recently for 4-5 months after covid-19 happened so I’m thankful that I’m being able to visit them. I got to meet 5 elephants in total; Boon See (60 years old), Dokkam (35 years old), Donnueng (76 years old), baby elephant See Keaw (6 years old) and one more I cannot rmb the name but she’s 20 😆 The story behind their logo is that they started off with 2 big and 1 baby elephant in one location; but now they are taking care of 62 domestic elephants over 9 camps! 🤩 There’s so much interesting things that I learnt yesterday but I’ll share more once the pictures are out! Meanwhile, enjoy this photo of Dok Kam and me 🤪 I have too many favourites but I defo ❤️ this a lot. Do visit an elephant camp and learn how to care for them and NOT ride them when you visit Thailand, in particularly; Chiangmai, Pattaya, Koh Samui and Phuket ❤️ #adventure #elephant #jungle #thailand #travel #urbanexplorer #summervacation

#tripblazers # We got memorial Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai trip.🥰 Chiang Mai is very beautiful city northern of Thailand. Many local food stall , massage and cafe shop. We love delicious local noddle soup very much.The price is also very reasonable. We love it very much. If we got the chance wanna to visit there again and stay longer than this time. People in Chiang Mai is very sweet and friendly.
