Las Palmas Luxury Villas

First time in Zihua. The villa is remote but we enjoyed the peace and quiet (and the sound of the waves breaking in the ocean). We were in room A3 which was beautiful and a few rooms away from the contruction happening next door so we really didn't hear much of that noise. Only one restaurant had pretty good food. Ivan and Isacc from the restaurant were attentive. Always love fresh coconut from the trees. Carlos at the front desk was helpful.

The room was 2, hotel and service 4, restaurant 3 for an average of 3. Im sure there are nice rooms. Ours, A1, was a one bedroom beachfront. Problems- we were right next to construction site; at noon and breaks workmen congregated around area next to our “Private beach”, since it was the only place with shade. The privacy hedge had holes where we could look right at them. Right next to our outdoor shower. I finally took a cushion and blocked the nearest hole for privacy. The “private beach” was actually more mud than sand. Each morning the outdoor pool would overflow and run into the yard (and water dripped from the unit above) to make the yard muddy. The area itself was nice, the beach palapas were shady, the units well designed and beautiful. The restaurant was about 30 percent priced too high. The breakfast was good , the fish we had in the evening was not good. Guacamole was not good, if that can be believed. The presentation of the food was beautiful. Service was good. There are a couple of other restaurants a thirty minute walk away but they all close at 6:30 PM. Take the bus down and walk the beach back. Any other taxi service was 400-500 pesos to Zihua etc. I think the villas have two management divisions, one for the owners and one for renters. I asked to be moved away from the construction and complained about the workers gathering in an email to the person i had made the reservation with but never got any response The one bedroom next to us was empty the whole time but no one ever responded or commented on my request or complaints so I just gave up after two days. Francesco at the front desk was very helpful. He was not there the first days. We never asked him to move because by the time he was working it was too late and not worth the added effort for just one night. The area is very remote compared to places in Zihuatenajo. But very quiet and the wave sounds are wonderful. Do not get A1 is my advice

Las habitaciones del hotel tendrían una calificación pasable, pero crean que no he visto más mala actitud del servicio de restaurante,en un lugar q pude a gritos q llegue el turismo. Los propietarios o concesionarios del restaurante deberían ser removidos de inmediato Eso hizo q de ninguna manera regrese a este lugar. No tienen ni la más remota idea de cómo dar un poco más al cliente Solo como ejemplo les comento q nos trajeron una orden de enchiladas a las cuales se les olvidó poner el relleno de queso y obviamente las devolvimos, pues lo q hicieron fu echar el queso a la tortilla ya toda mojada y volvernos lo a traer en una presentación horrible Lastima de la belleza del lugar Recapaciten

Excelente servicio, es la 2 a vez que vamos y seguramente habrá varias más….. Todo en buenas condiciones, muy acogedor y súper privado……que es lo que buscamos para descansar y también para tener un tiempo de relax en pandemia…..Sr Tony de recepción muy atentó, ayudó a mi esposo en una actividad, el restaurant el sabor de zihua simplemente “delicioso”, no son porciones grandes, pero el sabor es insuperable, no vale la pena ir a otro restaurant cercano, nada que ver con la calidad y sabor. Las Villas muy completas, tina hidromasaje funcional, playa limpia y se cuida el entorno, en fin…altamente recomendable…si buscas antro y aventuras no es el lugar, afortunadamente son totalmente familiares
