Hotel Experience & Unmatched Hospitality My stay at XiFuWan Resort Hotel was truly unforgettable—one of the most heartfelt and sincere displays of hospitality I’ve encountered in all my travels. A family-owned hotel opened in 2024, it makes you feel like a guest in someone’s home rather than a commercial customer. As a solo traveller on a spontaneous trip, I had very little planned. The hotel staff kindly helped secure attraction tickets to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain, and ZJJ Grand Canyon, even managing to get them at slightly lower prices than the official sites. The owner—formerly with the Zhangjiajie Tourism Bureau—also provided invaluable advice on routes and timings, tailored to my stay. This made a huge difference in navigating the expansive park efficiently. 2. Cleanliness, Comfort & Amenities The Exceptional Business Double Room was impeccably clean—easily among the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Rather than a work desk, the room had a lounge table and two chairs by the window, creating a cosy spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery. A wonderful bonus was the complimentary laundry service, which was thoughtful and convenient, especially after outdoor excursions. 3. Generosity & Personal Care I arrived early in the morning and was offered a free early check-in. On departure day, the staff also offered late check-out due to my evening flight, which I truly appreciated. When I felt unwell on my first day, the owner’s father—a retired doctor— kindly offered a medical consultation and continued to check in on me. Their level of attentiveness was deeply moving. To top it off, the hotel gifted all guests a box of fresh local fruits, reflecting their warmth and generosity. 4. Location, Accessibility & Language Support The hotel is located in a fantastic area—peaceful, yet close to numerous eateries, shops, and amenities. The convenience of having everything within walking distance enhanced the entire experience. Despite being in a mountainous region, the hotel features a built-in lift, making it very accessible—something that’s not always common in small towns. For English-speaking travellers, one of the owners is a former English teacher, which made basic communication smooth and reassuring. 5. Community Feel The hotel sits beside a local primary school, which added a lovely, heartwarming touch to the environment. There’s a strong sense of community and kindness, not only within the hotel, but throughout the surrounding area. For those who value authentic, local experiences, this place feels like home. 6. Final Thoughts Although XiFuWan Resort Hotel only began accepting foreign tourists a few months ago, it is an absolute hidden gem that deserves more recognition among international visitors. If you’re considering a stay in Zhangjiajie, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this hotel a try. The care, hospitality, and personal touch truly set it apart. Without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again the next time I return to ZJJ.

The owners, a genuinely kind husband and wife duo, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable and comfortable. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a lovely basket of fresh fruits—a thoughtful touch that truly reflected their generosity. They even went the extra mile by creating a WeChat group labeled "VIP" to keep us updated on local attractions and assist us during our stay, which added a personalized touch to the experience. The owners were particularly helpful in arranging tickets for the mountains and the famed Bailong Elevator, making our adventures seamless. They provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to the east gate of the mountain, which was incredibly convenient. During our stay, my mother experienced some abdominal pain, and the compassion demonstrated by the owners was heartwarming. The husband personally took us to the hospital and assisted us through every step of the process, ensuring my mother was taken care of from A to Z. There, we experience what visiting a hospital in China is like. Its very fast and convenient. Location-wise, XiFuWan Resort Hotel is perfectly situated in the bustling city center, surrounded by an array of conveniences including HeyTea, cyber cafés, supermarkets, and even a hospital nearby. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to explore the area without sacrificing comfort or service. Not to mention, there is also a halal restaurant nearby, ideal for muslim guests. The service we received at XiFuWan Resort Hotel exceeded our expectations, giving us an experience worthy of more than just five stars. **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic & Heartfelt Hospitality!** This charming family-run hotel proves warmth matters more than polish. No corporate perfection here—just **genuine care**, personalized attention, and staff who treat you like old friends. Yes, you might spot tiny imperfections, but they’re eclipsed by the **"home-not-hotel" vibe** and thoughtful touches. For travelers craving real connection over scripted service, it’s perfect. We adored our stay!

The host is an English teacher, which was easier for communication. They provided us with good instructions and advice to visit the scenic spots. They even offered us fresh fruits! The rooms are big and fully equipped, perfect for groups or family!

酒店就在森林公園東門附近，很好找，提供免費停車，附近生活便利，很方便。我一共住了三晚，住了不同的房型，可以説，這是我住過的最有温度的一家酒店，沒有之一！老闆兩夫妻人特別友善，很用心的在經營，房間乾淨衞生，有智能馬桶，床品一客一換，床墊和枕頭都很好，住得很舒服。期間身體不舒服，老闆二話不説，馬上送我去醫院，幫我拿葯拿化驗單，真的很感激！聽説我身體不舒服，爺爺馬上幫我把脈（老闆父親是老中醫），出門急，洗衣機的衣服忘記晾了（樓頂有洗衣機和晾曬區），回來發現奶奶幫我晾起來了，真的是很好的一家人。對了，老闆會根據我們的需求幫我們規劃最佳遊玩路線，真是幫了大忙了，原本打算請導遊的，幫我省了這個錢了。老闆送了水果，李子和桃子都很好吃。以後如果還來張家界，還會住這家酒店。

酒店是2024年開業的，設施設備較新，床上用品乾淨整潔，空調效果好；因親子套房，房間面積大，而且酒店因入住人（小童）佈置房間，很温馨！酒店位置離武陵源東門很近，酒店還提供接送增值服務，同時還提供新鮮水果，服務態度很好，做到有問必答，關鍵有電梯；總之，此次入住感覺很滿意！
