Not the real 'Four Seasons' you might think of but otherwise, had an overall great experience there. Before the trip, WeChat-ed them and customer service was quick to respond to accomodate and provide transportation pick up service from the train station. However, despite messaging prior to inform about the changes in our number of pax/luggages so that they can arrange for a bigger car to pick up, there was a mix-up as the hotel forgot to cancel the first car allocated to us, leaving us stranded for around 30 mins (in the cold) at the parking lot while we wait for the correct car to arrive. It also wasted the first driver's time as he got there early and waited for us despite us not needing his services in the end.
The hotel itself was located in a nice location, and the room was great. It was high-tech where most of the room controls are controlled by 'Xiao Du' their Alexa/Google Home service which only responds in Mandarin so for those who are unable to speak then there's no use for it. The smart toilet is enjoyable as the seats are heated and the bidet function is much needed. One interesting thing is that one of the windows in all the rooms is always left partially open (unsure the true reason for it) but it may be bothersome to some as we went during winter so personally i didn't mind it as a natural air conditioning since most of the room is heated.
The driver service that the hotel provided can then also be directly hired by fellow travellers if you require the service to get to and fro the different attractions/parks that you would be visiting during your holiday in Zhangjiajie. Overall had a good experience here. Only wished for the hotel breakfast to offer more variety, it was decent enough.
